A Quick Introduction To Hyjal Daily Quests

First and foremost, I will say that before patch 4.2 there were NO Guardians of Hyjal Daily Quests. Performing all normal quests in Mount Hyjal should get you to honored or revered status. After that, you will have to grind rep in dungeons with a Guardians of Hyjal Tabard. However, Patch 4.2 introduced all new Hyjal Daily Quests at the Regrowth and the Molten Front. From there, you can unlock two new factions: The Shadow Wardens, and and the Druids of the Talon. Read on to learn more about some of the details and rewards for completing the new Hyjal Daily Quests.

First, know that you cannot complete quests for both hubs on the same day. The moment you choose Regrowth quests, Molten Front quests will become unavailable for the day, and vice versa. Therefore it’s best to focus entirely on one specific Hyjal Daily quests hub until it is completed, and watch how the storyline unfolds.

If you participated in the Shattered Sun Offensive quests, you may remember how you gained ground as players completed all their daily quests. The world literally changed as you progressed. Well this is a little different since Hyjal Daily Quests make heavy use of Phasing technology in that YOUR progress affects how YOUR quest hub develops and unlocks. You can still interact with players that are in the same phase, but those who have moved on to later phases of Hyjal Daily Quests will not be available to you. This means you can’t just wait until the vendors are available.

Initially, you will start with the quest Guardians of Hyjal: Firelands Invasion! You can find this quest at the Call to Arms boards in any major city. Beginning at the Sanctuary of Malorne, you will receive a short chain of about 7 quests which will open up the first string of Hyjal Daily Quests. You should have 16 “Mark of the World Tree,” which act as a currency for furthering your progress in these daily quests. You will complete two daily quests at a time, as a chain. The first two are completely random each day. The third Hyjal daily quests for the day are a direct follow-up chain to your second random daily quest. You should receive 4 “Mark of the World Tree,” bringing you to a total of 20, which will allow you to unlock the second phase of Hyjal daily quests.

Once you unlock the second phase of daily quests, which starts with another short chain. Once you have completed that chain, you can then start collecting about 14 “Mark of the World Tree,” each day. After 9 days, you will have enough “Mark of the World Tree,” to unlock either the Shadow Wardens or the Druids of the Talon.

I can understand if this guide seems a little confusing. Blizzard definitely did not make it easy to keep track of everything. In fact, upon recruiting The Shadow Wardens or Druids of the Talon, you will unlock a completely new chain of Hyjal Daily quests for either faction. The details of these quest chains are extensive, and I use a Daily Quests Guide to sort everything out for me. However, the quests are a lot of fun, they really immerse you in the story in the game, and they have some pretty amazing rewards. You definitely will enjoy the new Hyjal Daily Quests.
