Wow Cooking Guide

I am writing this wow cooking guide article because I love to play wow ( World Of Warcraft). When I started playing I thought to myself now why would I want to take up cooking. You may have asked yourself the same question at some point. So in this wow cooking guide I will try to cover some of the basic reasons why you would want to take up cooking and touch some on the basics of wow cooking.

Cooking in world of warcraft is a secondary profession so it can also be learned even with your main two professions. One of the main reasons I took up cooking in world of warcraft honestly because one day I had nothing to do and thought what the hay. Little did I know after I got to the higher levels of cooking I made a lot of gold using cooking. I guess it was because no one else wanted to level it and was willing to pay for the buffs that some of the food provide. It really wasn't that bad to level once I got going at it and I bought most of the mats off the auction house so I got it leveled pretty quick to be honest.

You start out by visiting a cooking trainer in a major city for your faction and learn the skills. Once you get to the last levels of cooking you will need to start doing the daily cooking quest to earn tokens to purchase some of the recipes to max out your cooking. I would suggest getting the recipes that buff according to your personal stat needs of your character. The quest giver is beside the trainer in org and stormwind whichever faction you are will decide what city to go to. The vendor that you get these recipes from will also be there beside the trainer in the same cities.

Below is a brief look at the seven different levels of the cooking profession in wow. These levels are reached as your skill points get higher.

  1. 1-75 Apprentice (Visit trainer)
  2. 75-150 Journeyman (Visit trainer)
  3. 150-225 Expert (visit trainer)
  4. 225-300 Artisan (visit trainer)
  5. 300-375 Master (visit trainer)
  6. 375-450 Grand Master (Visit trainer)
  7. 450-525 Illustrious Grand Master (Visit trainer)

Well I hope this helped you decide if you wanted to take up cooking in wow or not. I would suggest you do it to help you and maybe your guild mates out. You can for sure use the buffs in raids and instances. Thanks for looking at my wow cooking guide. Have a great day and get to doing some wow cooking!
