Diablo 3 Characters - What You Need To Know

Are you excited for Diablo 3? I sure am! The long anticipated game is only a week away until it is released to the general public (May 15, 2012). I hope you did the smart thing and pre ordered your copy.

This article is about the different character and classes that will be available in the Diablo 3. The heroic men and women of the game come in five classes. These classes include

• The Barbarian

• The Monk

• The Witch Doctor

• The Wizard

• The Demon Hunter

Each class will have a male and a female counterpart. What this means is that you will not be fixed with just any one gender like in previous games. You can eat your words sexist gamers.

Diablo 3 Characters: Wizards

Diablo 3 has five character classes to choose from. Whether you prefer to perform freaky voodoo magic or you like to hand out a can of whoop ass there is a class for everyone. The first of the five classes that we’ll discuss is the wizard class.

The wizards are like the sorcerers or sorceresses from diablo 2. They are the new mega mage so to speak. Their skill set is borrowed from previous games unrelated to Diablo. Wizards are not built like barbarians and thus being weaker.

However, wizards have the ability to use projectile ammunition such as lightning, fire, and ice to attack enemies. This will be very good going against enemies that prove too strong for you to defeat up close and personal.

They can also use their special powers to slow down time, and teleport their enemies. This can come in handy when you need to avoid taking further damage or just easily escape an attack by a powerful enemy.

The wizard class should be a fun little class.

Diablo 3 Characters: Witch Doctors

Diablo 3 has five character classes to choose from. Whether you prefer to perform freaky voodoo magic or you like to hand out a can of whoop ass there is a class for everyone. The Second class we will discuss is the Witch Doctors.

The Witch Doctors is the new kid in town, but not entirely. It was modeled after the necromancer from Diablo 2. The Diablo 3 Witch Doctor is like the wizards in the way that they are physically weaker than the other classes, but make up for it with their voodoo magic.

This class type has the ability to summon unworldly creatures, capture souls, cast spells, and launch homemade toxic at enemies from afar.

The Witch Doctor uses its spiritual energy (Mana) to use most of its attacks, but don’t be greedy. When used in long bursts, Mana will replenish slowly leaving you vulnerable to attacks.
