Tips For Solo Questing in WoW
Grinding In WoW
What does grinding mean?
Many actually get this wrong! Grinding is the means to do something over and over again!
Many assume that grinding just means to kill lots of enemies, but any task that is repetitive and is done with the purpose of earning XP and items is known as grinding.
Grinding the mobs however is a commonplace strategy in World of Warcraft and although not as effective as it used to be it still racks up some nice XP and helps with leveling.
Grinding the mobs can be a weary and boring strategy for leveling in WoW and if not followed correctly one can waste a lot of time! To grind efficiently you need to keep one thing in mind and that is how much XP is being gained.
Sounds obvious I know, but many just go around hacking down mobs without fully benefiting from the XP on offer. To grind efficiently you're going to want to kill only enemies or mob of equal or higher level as they reward much more XP. I wouldn't go for mobs that are more than three levels below me because they don't reward enough XP.
Of course if you're solo questing to level your way through WoW and embark on a quest where the enemies are of lower level then kill them anyway but choose wisely when grinding in-between quests.
It's also worth noting that the longer you're active in WoW per session, the less XP you're rewarded for killing enemies so you want to take out the higher level mobs and participate in the higher level quests each time you first log into WoW to fully benefit from the XP available.
