If you are familiar with any world of warcraft type game you know that you can simply fight enemies, loot what they drop and then sell the item’s for money at a shop or auction house then rinse and repeat. The world of warcraft term for this is grinding. I don’t particularly like to “grind” but when your just starting a new character, it can be a good way to make some money. The key to successful grinding is to find a spot that has lots of creatures that are not to hard to defeat so you can go a long time just fighting and looting.

After you have grinded for a while try one of the world of warcraft profession’s to generate gold, many of them work well and get better the higher in level you get them. There are two basic types of primary professions in world of warcraft. One type is called a Gathering profession. A Gathering profession intails the gathering of stuff like plants and flower’s to sell or create things like healing potions. On the other hand we have profession’s referred to as Production profession’s. With a Production profession you will be crafting item’s from raw material’s or re-crafting existing item’s.

Understand that not all profession’s are created equal, certain classes will find some profession’s more valuable than others. Even the race that you choose can help certain profession’s, making your character more skillful at that particular profession.

By sticking to solo questing, you will reap all of the rewards that are dropped by your enemies and also get all of the experiance point’s. This sounds great on the surface but can be very hard to do if your not careful. Planning ahead for questing solo is quite important and can make the diference as to weather you will be good at it or not. Stock up with lots of provision’s and heal’s. The last thing you want to have to do is keep running back to town to pick-up stuff. Soloing is easiest when you put your focus on defeating foe’s that are slightly lower in level than you are. By doing this you will survive better and be able to get item’s that are not complete junk.

There will be times where it will be wise to team up with other players in order to get past more difficult situations. When you feel that you need the help of some other players to continue, don’t team-up with a large party and only stay with them to get past the area that you need help with. If you are lucky enough to find some player’s that are of higher levels than you are, they make for the best team-mates. By joining up with players that are higher in level than you you will be able to complete the quest quicker and they might give you some nice stuff.

This world of warcraft beginners guide should help you get off to a good start, hope you liked it.
