The Galactic Starfighter update has been out long enough for most people to give it a shot. However, the Galactic Starfighter is not 100% implemented yet, since we don’t even have all of the classes, but I think most people have probably developed an opinion on it already. With cheapest swtor credits, players can explore GSF better in the future.
What about your GSF progression?
Each time you fall in the mass of pc gamers who have obsessed over space combat. X-Wing/TIE fighter, SWG’s Jump to Lightspeed. That is to say, GSF is pretty cool. So far, pretty much all of my complaints are relatively minor and have more to do with balance or game types than the space engine itself. Those things are easier to change or build around in the future. However, you will find the GSF is really hard if you want to see a practice area or something for it.
Future expectation of the swtor:
Some more maps or game modes will be nice indeed. They are of course going to add them in the future so I not worried about that. I would like to see a ranked just like the regular PvP has, but that will probably come much later. In addition, your point about GSF progression being faction/legacy based doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Regular PvP is per character grind. Mind you can purchase the mods on one character and send it via legacy gear to save time, but GSF per character just makes sense.
GSF shows more promises other than PvP.
To a certain degree, the intial iteration of GSF shows a lot of promise other than PvP. I’m gald that they brought something in that PvP players can enjoy. The content has been far more repetitive and and stale for far longer than PvP side. Since some players don’t care for PvP, the GSF perhaps is a better choice.
