Sometimes it feels like I’m always spending cash on BlizzCon tickets, like the grind never ends (there’s wow gold for that!) Each year I tell myself there’s no need to pony up, and each year I get myself a ticket in the end. Last year was pretty sweet. Yeah, it was a little light on wow-centric stuff, but at least we got to see and play a new game. Overwatch looks cool, I might play it some more if it’s free to play. Of course, what you and I are looking forward to is more World of Warcraft.
So the Blizz has put out an announcement telling folks that tickets will be on sale in batches, between Apr 15 and 18, and BlizzCon itself will be Friday Nov 6 and Nov 7th. Let see, am I doing anything that weekend? NOPE!
I’m hopeful we’ll get a chance to play whatever the new expansion is. it feels like they’ve got to announce it pretty soon, especially if they’re going to hit their new target of a new expansion every year. Really hope they don’t go back on that, feels like wow’s really starting to pick up a head o’ steam again and it’d be a shame to see that go away.
6.1 Hotfixes are now out in the wild, they fix a bunch of bugs introduced with er… 6.1. Most of them are minor fixes and tweaks. They should be live by the time you read this.
What else is going on? Not a whole heck of a lot. There’s the new RAF reward, the Cindermane Charger, which is pretty durn sweet, I gotta say. The chargers are typically found on the Firelands, and it’s awesome to see that Blizz is finally rewarding folks who recruit a friend with a COOL looking mount. I don’t mean to be critical of what’s come before, but the Cindermane Charger’s pretty much the only one I’ve seen that holds up. Now if only they’d make some kinda flaming hog for horde players… I digress.
It seems like after a flurry of new content, the new races, S.E.L.F.I.E.S etc that things are starting to calm down a bit. That’s all well and good, gives me an excuse to concentrate on beefin’ up my garrison and completing a few loose-end quests. Still, here’s hoping we get some cool news soon. Fingers crossed for that expansion announcement, eh?
