The Starcraft 2 Terran 111 Build Strategy

As an online player playing Starcraft 2, being familiar with the map and knowing the unit composition of your enemy will be influential to the decisions you make over the strategies you use throughout the game. If you are ranked lower than your enemy, you will have to be very alert during the rush phase which comes early on in the game. High pressure tactics will be used in this stage of the Terran 111 Build.

It is of great importance that you evaluate the elements of this build because these elements can help you understand the strategy of your enemy much faster. There are many methods and techniques of executing effective orders in your build and breaking down the defenses of your enemy if you understand the strategy of your enemy.



What you will have to do first is to buy more time in order to complete your building construction fully. This is possible if you first build barracks and produce marines which will help you in defending against early invasions that may come your way. The next best thing to do is to build a factory so that you are able to manufacture [censored] ions and other vehicles.

For this you will also have to create another refinery as well. The [censored] ions in your army are fast and are able to har[censored] your enemies. You may also launch a preemptive strike on the base of your enemy or send units off in response to the rush of your enemy.

But if you choose to attack your enemy using units such as Marauders and [censored] ions, you will sometimes leave your own base open. So, to defend your base while fighting off a rush from the enemy, you should post a number of Marines as well as Marauders in your base. Next, you should finish off the 111 build with the construction of a Starport.

The combination of Siege Tanks, Medivacs and Marines is a mid game strategy also which is usually recommended when aggressiveness is needed to used on the enemy. You will have to continue to produce combat units if you need to stay aggressive. In order to produce more of the higher tech units you will have to use your SCVs for the mining of Vespene gas through your refineries.

The combination of Banshees and Vikings is another fine way to overcome the defenses of your enemy and take control. This strategy can mainly be used to take control of the air by the buildup of air units in large quantities and sending them for quick but strong air raids. You should take care to destroy any anti-air defenses that the enemy has first. The Banshees should be sent to har[censored] enemy workers first.

You must also take note to have a healthy economy so that you can maintain the production of your units and buildings.
