The Xbox360, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light unlike its predecessors, does not carry the tomb raider brand and lays a huge emphasis on cooperative game play. It’s certainly the best tomb raider game, where Lara has to undergo an adventure that’s different from her previous ones. Lara’s still exploring, but with help from a partner. The game introduces new fun features that give out a completely different picture of Lara. The game comes at affordable price as well, when compared to other cheap videos.
In the Guardian of Angels, Lara encounters monsters and traps. The story begins when Lara finds a mirror in South America, thereby releasing an evil demon. The Guardian of Angel, Totec helps Lara in her effort to save humanity. As usual, the animations are superb, especially when objects are destroyed. I just love the way they explode. There’s another scene where Lara fights with a T-Rex. The collision scene is a real pleasure to watch.
The Guardian of Angels is certainly the best, of all Lara Croft games. Most of the objects n the game are destroyable as well. You earn points in the game by finding treasures and killing enemies. You can even compare scores with fans over the world. The aim here is to earn enough points to receive a weapon or reach the new level. There are also challenge tombs that are optional and offer artifacts if the puzzle is solved. There are ‘reward challenges’ as well, that give out weapons for successfully completing random tasks, like destroying columns etc. The game’s just endlessly interesting. The weapons as well are fun to use. You could even customize Lara or Totec with about four weapons at a time. Guardian of Light is a dual stick shooter, where it runs with the left stick but aims with the right.
What’s different from the previous Lara Croft games is that as earlier said, the game needs the talent of both Lara and Totec. For example when Lara extends a grappling hook, Totec can walk across like a tight rope and when Totec can throw in a spear Lara can jump. The game is all about experimenting when solving. As the game proceeds from simple to complex puzzles, you realize the need for a partner. However, the games does not allow for an online cooperative play. Crystal Dynamics however says, that this problem should be taken care of, when the Play station 3 version releases. The story and the dialogues may seem a little childish to some, but, overall the game is a delight to play. The game’s certainly designed intelligently and is a great makeover for Lara.
There are a number of websites that offer the games. You could also source for cheap video games, from these sites.
