- World of Darkness is dark and sexy

At the beginning of 2009 it was revealed that EVE Online developer CCP worked with the World of Darkness. This is a massively multiplayer games added to the White Wolf role-playing universe, by the same name. Last time we saw anything of White Wolf's vampire world was in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, a large single-player role-playing game from now-defunct Troika Games.

Now we have got to see some more of the game, after the photos were leaked from The Grand Masquerade Collection at the weekend. The film (see the video window), showing a real vampire infested cityscapes that will be joined by a somewhat alvorstynget female narration.

The Icelandic publisher has issued a response to the leak, via Eurogamer.

- The game is dark and sexy. It is under development, but I have no other comment on the status of the project - except that I've played it, "says CCP Torfi Frans Olafsson

It is not known when the World of Darkness comes out, but it has previously been talked about as a five-year project. It is expected that we get even more info under EVE Fanfest 2011, which takes place in Iceland 24.-26. March next year.

The timing for a vampire game is certainly very good, bloodsuckers have been a real revival through both books, television shows and movies in recent years.
