Infamous 2 Beating The Ravager

The first boss you face in Infamous 2 is called the Ravager. This is pretty small compared to the beginning fight but can still pose a challenge on the harder difficulties. I’m not entirely sure but I think it is about 5 main missions into the game. Let’s get started.

The Ravager is really small compared to The Beast but still hits hard. I assume later in Infamous 2 you will face more then one of these at a time so it’s best to master it now.

At the start of the fight they will teach you how to roll and dodge his charge. Remember to hit circle and the direction you want to roll because he will charge you quite a bit. Anytime he charges you roll out of the way.

If you are taking to much damage they put a generous amount of light poles around so you can heal up really quickly with L2.

You can damage the Ravager in many ways. The bombs do a lot if they hit but this guy moves around and can go underground so it’s hard to hit.

I couldn’t get the L1 and X to knock his spit back at him so I’m not sure if you can do that let me know if you end up getting it though.

Just normal lightning didn’t see to do much when I aimed at his face. That said when he caught me I would have to spam R1 and that did some decent damage. Still try not to get caught he kills you very quickly like that.

The easiest way I found to bring do the Ravager in Infamous 2 was to pick up a car or trash can and hit him with it. The best time to do this is when he pops back out of the ground. Trying to do it when he is charging you can be tough since you are rushed. It will take about 4 hits to finish it off this way.

So there you have it beating The Ravager in Infamous 2. This is the first boss in the game but I would assume we will get to face a ton more. Check back later for more boss guides and are full review soon.
