Darksiders 2 features a number of collectible items such as the Boatman Coins, but these are a little harder to find. This Darksiders 2: Book Of The Dead Page Location Guide will answer all of your questions on where can I find Book of the Dead pages, giving you the region and exact location of each page we’ve discovered so far. If you know of any not listed here, please leave a comment with the location and information on how to get it. I’ll add it to the guide and credit your name.
For every 10 pages you collect, you’re given to a key to a vault full of treasures. These are well worth collecting.
Chapter 1: Book of the Dead Page #1
The first page is located in Stonefather’s Forge, the same zone that you discover your second Boatman Coin. The first page is located at the most Northern part of the zone, if you check your map, it’s North East of the giant eye thing. Once you’ve collected the page a group of Prowler’s will spawn, so make sure you’re ready. They’re pretty quick to kill though.

The second page for the Book of the Dead can be found in Baneswood. If you check your map you’ll notice a small indentation on the East side. Head there and you’ll discover a statue near a chest, check to the rear of the statue to find the second page.

The third page for Book of the Dead Chapter 1 can be located inside The Cauldron. You automatically get to the room following the main story arch. It’s the room with the two Blue Orbs, the page is located inside the area where the Blue Orb is behind bars.

In the final room in the Cauldron, the room with the circular switch, just after the Gharn Boss Fight. In the two alcoves next to the switch are a group of boxes, the 4th page is in one of those groups of boxes either side.

This one can be found in the room with a giant statue in Drenchfort. The first big room you reach. Open your map, you’ll see a half-circle shape just South of the Northern door to the room. Follow the line of that half-circle shape to the right. There’s a broken part on that wall, you need to drop down and you’ll see the page.

This one can be found in the Drenchfort. After you’ve pulled 2 levers and fixed the East and West sides of the Aqueduct. You can swim back to the part where it was broken. Hidden behind a rock is the Book of the Dead page.

During the Side Quest Shattered Forge, inside the room where you’re ambushed by a Construct Sentinel. Break the vases and boxes in that room.

This one can be found inside The Nook during the main quest line. Someway into the dungeon you enter the room where you have to get The Construct up the elevator and then solve 2 puzzlers using two Constructs. You need to have one with his chain across the gap and the other in the hole next to the chain, on the same side you entered the room for. This opens the gate to get the Book of the Dead Page.

Another Book of the Dead Page can be found inside The Nook. This one is located in the most North-Western room on floor 2. As you climb the walls to release the Orb, you’ll notice a small room to the left of the Orb (as you look at it). Climb across the beams to reach the room. There’s also a Power Stonebite nearby.

The ninth page for Chapter 1 of Book of The Dead is found inside the Foundry. Just after you unlock the Deathgrip ability and use it to jump over the ledge back to pup. You’ll see another hook way below, get onto that and follow the corridor round to another hook to get this page.
Once you’ve collected all 10 from the first Chapter head to any Vulgrim store location and sell him the pages. He gives you a key to the Forge Lands Tomb. The Tomb for the Forge Lands is the multicolored door that’s just outside the entrance to The Lost Temple. The Death Tomb contains a variety of chests and weapons racks. Also, move the burning torch as there’s a Talisman hidden behind it.
Note: You can’t get the rest in the Forge Lands until later. Return here after you’ve complete Lost Light.

This page is found within The Scar. When you reach the chest with the Skeleton Key, turn around and wall run to a ledge. Follow the ledge round to find the page.

Behind Ostegoth on the Eternal Throne, just to the left of the entrance for the Gilded Arena.

Inside the Gilded Arena. After you’ve already got 1 of the items you need, you’ll go into the west door. The room after the Boatman Coin wall run has a tower with a beam. Lift the bridge to collect the Book of the Dead Page.

Inside Phariseer’s Tomb. Once you reach the second elevator take the East door to the Mummy filled room. Check behind the large statue at the back.

Another inside Phariseer’s Tomb. It’s in the room where you pull the lever to drop the bridge, kill the mummies and then pull the large pillar along the bridge. At the end of the bridge use Deathgrasp to hook up to a node and get the page.

South of the City of the Dead. Behind a raise platform on the bridge. Usually a Skeleton spawns on top.

After the Tormentor room. Second tower in Judicator’s dungeon, you’ll need to use the spirit to stand on a plate and wall run around. Just after that, behind them and to the left, as you approach, is a page.

Inside the Judicator’s dungeon. Once you’ve unlocked the door to the second tower, climb up the middle part once. And then stand on the edge, you’ll see the page floating. It’s tricky but you can Deathgrasp it.

Inside the Judicator’s dungeon in the third tower. After you’ve Deathgrasped to the top where you can see the spirit, circle back around for this page.

Inside the City of the Dead. The first room with the big Skeleton that has the large shield. Check the South East corner.

Inside City of the Dead. Shortly after getting Skeleton key you have to jump off a bridge onto a Deathgrip object. Follow wall around and head East, wall jumping to the top. Check your right side behind the hole.
After completing 2 chapters you can unlock the second crypt after selling your pages. The second one is in the Kingdom of the Dead at the Lair of the Deposed King. Also an objective for a Side Quest. You don’t have to fight anything if you’re too low, just go inside the dungeon and follow the big staircase to the bottom. There’s also a stone down there for Sticks & Stones Side Quest.

Inside City of the Dead. When you bring the Lantern to the statue, turn to the South and open the gate with the beam of light.

After you unlock the door with the Skeleton Key in City of the Dead (In the room with the large statue and big hole, 2nd floor) break the boxes inside and to your left.
Note: I went back to the Forge Lands to complete a Side Quest inside The Scar. Scroll back up to the Forge Lands section.

As you approach the large bridge in Lost Light, search the ruins on the right.

After you’re attacked by the big red thing that jumps at you down the road. Head to the North East corner, the Book of the Dead page is behind you and to your right, as you look at the chest.

After you collect the first piece of the rod that’s lodge in the demon goo, as you head up the stairs look up. Use your Deathgrasp to grab it.

After Uriel opens the door for you, follow it through. It’s on your left as you enter the huge pipe.

After you collect the Dungeon Map from the chest, follow the nearby building through to the next area. As you leave the alleyway, there’s a building ahead that homes this page of the Book of the Dead

After you collect the Eye of Arafel and speak with Uriel to open another door. Check by the angel to her South West, the page is near him.

After you meet the Corrupted Champion’s for the first time, go North and then West to enter the tower. Drop through the small hole in the floor, the page is located South near the Corruption.

Another one is in the Nook after you get the death grip left bottom side of the map as you enter there are corruption pillars to be destroyed as you climb you get the ball bomb to blow them away for the page.
