If you’re searching on where to find the intel scattered throughout the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 single player campaign, you’ve come to the right place. This Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 Guide: Intel Locations Guide will show you where to find the hidden intel on a mission by mission basis. It is worth noting that when you collect Call of Duty Black Ops 2 intel, it is saved. Therefore you can collect the intel and quit a mission, allowing you to return and grab ones you’ve missed without having to do the entire mission again.

Intel Location Number 1.1
The first piece of intel can be located during the first combat scene. As all the troops are rushing you, look to your right and you’ll see a destroyed vehicle. It’s the same location you can grab Mortars to throw. Located next to the vehicle is a hole in the ground from Mortar attacks, the intel can be found there.
Intel Location Number 1.2
The first piece of intelligence can be located shortly after the helicopter crash. Once your onboard the barge head up to the top deck and search the front of the boat. It’s on the opposite side to the RPG, easily spotted as you turn to go down the stairs. Near the mounted machine gun.
Intel Location Number 1.3
After you’ve shot the radio operator in the face, you’re tasked with the difficult objective of retreating back to the river. After you’ve held a defensive position for the first time, you move to the second location. When you move on towards the second location you’ll notice an obvious Hunting Platform directly ahead, to your left is another, climb the smaller one on the far left to collect the final piece of intel for this mission.
Intel Location Number 2.1
The first piece of intel on the second mission of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 can be discovered near the 2 drones after the entry sequence. Note: After you enter the complex you cannot return here to collect the intel as the ceiling collapses behind you.
Intel Location Number 2.2
The second piece of Black Ops 2 intel on the second mission can be found after you penetrate the facility and lose communications. Shortly after you collect the optical camouflage suit. You’ll be ambushed by a couple of ASD robot’s shortly after you enter. Dispatch of these and the following soldiers before attempting to grab the intel inside the office on the left as soon as you enter the room. Right next to where the event takes place that causes an explosion.
Intel Location Number 2.3
After you free the scientist (Erik) from the container he’s trapped in. A fight ensues. After defeating the enemies you’ll notice the previously closed door directly opposite is now open. Head inside and you’ll see the glowing PDA on a table at the back end of the room. This is the final piece of Call of Duty: Black Ops II intel on this mission.
Intel Location Number 3.1
The first piece of intel in mission 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops II is located in the rebel outpost shortly after the horse ride. Before the Russians attack, after you’ve spoken with the rebel leader, search to your left to find the first piece of intel on this mission.
Intel Location Number 3.2
This one can be quite difficult to obtain because you can fail the mission if you leave at the wrong times. After you return back to the main base and destroy the flying Gunships, the base is attacked by 2 tanks. Take out these tanks and then run in a straight line away from the boarded up door of the base. You’ll see a red flag in the distance, the same area that the tanks came from. The intel is leaning against the flag
Intel Location Number 3.3
The final piece of intel for mission 3 in Call of Duty: Black Ops II can be found after the tank attack, when you’re asked to go and reclaim the weapons cache. As you approach the objective you’ll see a bridge. Before getting to the bridge look to your right, as you approach, and you’ll see a large cave. The final piece of Black Ops intel can be found inside.
Intel Location Number 4.1
You don’t want to miss the first piece of Call of Duty: Black Ops II intel on this mission as it means restarting. At the beginning, after Raul escapes and you take control. Continue on until you reach the barn that’s on fire, when all the horses charge at you. The first piece of intel is located in the back of the cart near the opposite end of the barn.
Intel Location Number 4.2
The second piece of intel on this mission is located inside a Bell Tower. As you approach the main compound there’s a tower entrance on your right side, with a ladder going up. You have to jump off at the second floor to be able to grab the piece of intel.
Intel Location Number 4.3
The final piece of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 intel on this mission can be found inside the cocaine bunker. Once you’re inside kill everyone until you see Woods climb the exit ladder. From there turn around and leave that room, the intel can be found on a bench in the nearest doorway.
Intel Location Number 5.1
The first Black Ops 2 intel on mission 5 is located right at the start. In the room with the CLAWS at the very start, check the storage shelves nearby to find the first piece of intel.
Intel Location Number 5.2
The second piece of intel on this mission is a simple one. After you fight to open the gate, to avoid the bus, take your first right. It’s hidden down to your left as you enter the alley with the red lights and box.
Intel Location Number 5.3
The final piece of Black Ops II intel on this mission can be located just after you dodge the spotlights of the Drones. When you enter the destroyed building at the end, a section of it will collapse in front of you just as you reach the objective marker. The intel can be located on the floor ahead of you.
Intel Location Number 6.1
The first piece of Call of Duty: Black Ops II Intel is pretty easy on this mission. After you’ve scanned the guys eye with the remote control droid (Ziggy), you’ll breach a server room. Run to the far right of the objective and the intel is sitting on a table
Intel Location Number 6.2
The second piece of Black Ops II intel can be located shortly after the fight scene at the club. After you hit the armory and head into the mall, you’re told to run downstairs. As you reach the bottom of the stairs take a right and enter the clothes shop. The intel is located behind the computers on a desk at the back of the room.
Intel Location Number 6.3
The final piece of intel on this level is located towards the end when you’re chasing DeFalco. You’ll find a large circular pool with a gold, globe object in the center. The right side is blocked so head around the left side of it and then cling to the far right wall. The intel is located at a computer desk a short distance ahead.
