Fire Emblem: Awakening Guide – Paralogue 4: Anna the Merchant Guide

The Paralogue missions are side quests in Fire Emblem: Awakening that hold powerful characters and items. This Fire Emblem: Awakening Paralogue 4: Anna the Merchant Guide will go over how to recruit Anna for good, who is a very powerful character and how to get the most items possible. Paralogue 4: Anna the Merchant Guide

Important Unlocks:

• Character Unlock: Anna will join your squad after you talk to her with Chrom.
• Item Unlock: There are a ton of awesome items in chests strewn throughout the map.
• Item Unlock: You will get a Talisman after you beat a boss.
• XP Unlock: Look for the shinning squares on the map, these areas have increases in either XP or weapon proficiency increases.

This is the 4th Paralogue Mission in Fire Emblem: Awakening and probably the hardest mission up to this point. Your troops are spread across the bottom of the map in a way that is hard to group up on any one group. Your first objective should be to get to Anna. Letting her die will mean that you can not recruit her.

You will have to take out a good dose of the front forces so that they get any cheap shots against some of your healing units. Don’t get to aggressive though. If you get to far forward on the map you will have a whole second line to deal with. Anna is pretty strong so she can hold her own for a while. Talk to her with Chrom and she will join your squad.

After you recruit an awesome thief you can start making your way up the map. There is no rush at this point so team up and build those relationships. Make sure to pick up some items from the chests in the map. Your new thief, Anna can open chests without a key. Another thief would also be helpful just to make this process go quicker.


There is a thief on the other team that will go for a chest with one of the best items. If you can you are going to want to cut him off. Once he gets to the chest, it only takes him one move to run off of the map so you are going to have to be quick. Finish off the rest of the enemies including the boss, collect as many items as you can along the way and you will have beaten the 4th Paralogue.
