Fire Emblem: Awakening Guide – Xenologue: Champions of Yore 2 Guide

Xenologue: Champions of Yore 2 is another DLC mission that has been made available by Nintendo. The DLC mission lets you recruit Roy in Fire Emblem Awakening and costs $2.50, or you can get a DLC pack with Champions of Yore 1,2 & 3 for $4. Xenologue: Champions of Yore 2 Guide

Important Unlocks:

• Character Unlock: Roy joins your squad after the mission.
• Items Unlock: There are item squares and two villages to visit that have awesome items.

The Champions of Yore 2 is on the exact same map as The Champions of Yore 1 except it has a little bit of a twist. Your squad is spread out in half. Half of them is on the right side and half of them left. Plan your squad accordingly and try to bring a healer on each side. Keep an eye on the relationships that the different characters have because your forces will need to be strong if they are split up.

There are some items on the map that you can pick up that will be helpful. There is a village next to each spawn point. Take your healer (probably) on each side up to or down respectively to these points. There also is some shiny item spaces. Most of the time these spots won’t have anything really valuable so it’s not really worth your time if you have to go out of the way.

There is no need to do anything else special for this chapter. Just make sure that you do not lose any of your characters to costly mistakes. Take your time moving towards the center of the map with both groups of your allies and keep yourself healed up. After defeating all of the enemies on the map you will have completed the second Xenologue.

After completing this chapter, you will see a cut scene with the old man. Then you will be given a chance to recruit Roy into your party. I hope this guide helped you get ready for this mission.
