In Lightning Returns you will be trying to save souls while completing the main story. Every side quest you beat will give you more souls and reward you with money and stats. This guide will help you beat all the Luxerion side quests. Let’s get started.
Remember you are in a bit of a rush so use the EP skill Chronostasis so you can complete the quests without being warped back to the Ark. This is a work in progress and I will be updating it as I go. Some of these quests appear after you beat the main missions for the area.
Whiter Faith – When you arrive at Luxerion this quest will automatically start for you. You will need to get some witness statements and try out what exactly happened. Talk to the Outfitter and the Innkeeper to learn what the know about the quest. From there go near the Outfitter’s koisk and you can examine some purple paper to get another clue. Complete the quest where Are You, Holmes to learn who threw the doll of the ledge. After that all you need to do is talk to any of the ???? people walking around then talk to the inquisitor.
Where Are You, Holmes? – You can get this quest at the guard at the bottom of the steps. He basically needs you to find his replacement and make sure he is okay. Go around from the Innkeeper and you should see Homes. Escort him back to his partner and he will reward you for your efforts.
Revenge Is Sweet – This quest can be found at the Canvas of Prayers right below the north station. You will need to get 6 Niblet Hairballs which you can get off of Niblets. They can be found in various parts of the city, just wait for people to scream and a monster is around.
Gift of Gratitude – This quest can be found at the Canvas of Prayers right below the north station. You will need 6 pieces of Tattered Leather for this one and those can be acquired from Gremlims. They can be found in various parts of the city, just wait for people to scream and a monster is around.
Inventive Seamstress – This quest can be found at the Canvas of Prayers right below the north station. You will need to get 3 Liquid Glass which can be acquired from dead Meonekton. They can found in the city from 4am to 6 am.
Dying Wish – Between The Residences and the Commercial District you will find a girl sitting down with the quest stars above her. She needs you to help her make a potion to help her sick dad. Head into the Commercial District and talk to the Kiosk owner when the shop is open. After you get the list you will have to find them in the city.
A man named Seger sells Shaolong Gui shells and he can be found in Old town across from the armorer.

Born From Chaos – Go through the Warehouse and towards the path down to find a woman who wants you to kill a dragon. Go down the long path and you will find the dragon when you pick up some seeds. There is chaos in this zone but you don’t have to fight the boss in it! Wait for another weaker monster to spawn and kill it inside the chaos to make it disappear and have the boss be way easier.
Zomok is the boss for the quest and he is weak to Thunder and resistant to Aero. Right when the fight starts he will attack so be ready to guard in some way. Once you can attack use some magic to weaken him then just keep the stagger bar going until he is staggered. If he uses tail whip block and hit the tail for extra damage to help him get staggered quicker. Once he is staggered do as much damage as you can and try to finish him. Use potions and guard whenever you have to and this fight is pretty simple.
Suspicious Spheres – This can be got from Virgil in The Residences. He will give you the code to open up the red chests in the city and the quest is to open three of them and report back to him. the first one is right next to him so open that.
Another one can be found near the South Station railway, north of the Canvas of Prayers.
A third can be found in the Warehouse district near where the number graffiti can be found. Return to Virgil to complete the quest.
Faster Than Lightning – In The Residences you can find a kid with a flag on his back. Talk to him and he will want to race you. Just keep up with him and you will beat the quest when you reach the end.
Savior’s Reward – In the arcade area you can talk to a man named Baird. He will ask you to bring him Soul seeds and you will be compensated for each one. Give him the two you have found for some gil and a quest reward.
Mythical Badge – You get this of the Canvas of Prayers and you can get the item by donating 3 times to the church. Look for guys around the city asking for donations and after the third donation they will give you the Proof.
