The Witcher 3 Guide: How To Get A Novigrad Pass

In order to get to the big cities of Novigrad you will need to get a pass to cross the bridge into the area. There are a few ways to get a pass and some are quick and other takes time. This Witcher 3 guide will help you get a Novigrad pass as soon as possible!

How To Get A Novigrad Pass In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

There are actually three ways to get the pass that I know of. The first will cost you some money, either 50 or 100 Crowns but it is the quickest. After you talk to the guards and they explain that you need a pass return to the board near the bridge. Near here you can get a quest from a Merchant called Fake Papers. If you have the Axii upgrade you can barter down to 50 Gold for a pass from him, if not it will cost 100. It might be fake but it will get you in.

The second method is free but will take a bit more time. At the board you can get a contract called “Woodland Beast”. It is pretty straight forward, follow the tracks and examine the bodies to the end. After you deal with the monster you can return and the guard will issue you a pass because you helped him out.

The last method takes the longest but it is part of the story. After you do the Baron’s story quest line he will give you a pass so you can enter Novigrad for him. Doesn’t matter if it is for him or for you, either way you can get in with his pass.

Once you are in Novigrad you can then go to a bunch of new shops and the bank to exchange your currency!
