The Member of the Month awards are here! That's right; it's time to honour three very special VideoGamer.com members for their outstanding services to VG. We've decided to pick these members for being really fantastic on the forums and generally being hot cakes all over the website (we love hot cakes), and it's only fair we acknowledge all their contributions by rewarding them with a brand new game. So on with Member of the Month February.
Each winner will have the choice of any in-stock game (up to the value of £50) from GAME!
We've been running this promotion for years, with the results announced on the forums and our podcast. We like to go into a little more detail, with a brief explanation of why we've picked the specific winners each month.
It's important to mention that if you did not win this time around, please do not feel unappreciated; we genuinely love all your contributions to VideoGamer.com, and as fortune has it, we'll be picking another set of winners in precisely one month's time.
Without any further delay, here are our Members of the Month for February:
You've seen him around; it's Dat munkee Kid who lurks in the forums. We enjoyed Munkee's company last month and we definitely think he's a keeper! Munkee seemed to be posting like crazy throughout February, and you'd think with all that posting the quality might slip, or even be one word answers to get that sweet sweet post count sky high; not so. We've enjoyed his well-constructed opinions, and we've also had fun with the sillier stuff which made us giggle. Keep up the good work dude, and we always enjoy your questions on the podcast.
Oh pblive, you've done it once again. He's a favourite amongst members at VideoGamer.com, always around and ready to help at a moment's notice. Just take a look at this posting beast during the PS Vita's launch, he started the thread all the way back in summer 2011, and still he keeps it going! And like we said, we are proud to have him as a member for he is always so giving, with a heads up for people on all things Vita related. Winner! Keep up the awesome posting. <3
Our final spot goes to CheekyLee. This guy is something special, if you've ever read one of his threads you'll know what we are talking about. He makes us really think about certain subjects we might have otherwise glossed over, take for example this thread on The inevitable endpoint for games reviews? Interesting huh. We've relished what CheekyLee has come up with during the last month, and he pretty much bangs the nail right on the head when projecting his ideas. We particularly liked The new multiplayer? thread. Always sparking conversation and thought for everyone involved in his discussion, the last award goes to you CheekyLee, good job.
