Mortal Kombat X Krypt Unlocks, Fatalities, Brutalities and Costumes

If you're looking to unlock all of the items in the Mortal Kombat X Krypt, look no further. Today we're going to help you out by giving you a guide to everything the Krypt has to offer, including things like Sub-Zero's Ice Ball, Scorpion's Spear, and all the Fatalities and Brutalities you can handle.

For those that might not be familiar with the Krypt in Mortal Kombat X, it's basically a big graveyard that players can wander around in, spending Koins unlocking things with a chance at some cool rewards. Even with the odd startle and being asked to participate in a quick-time event every now and then, it won't take you long to get bored. Of course, in proper 2015 video game fashion, you could always just spend $20 and buy all of these items from the PlayStation Store or Xbox Marketplace, but where's the fun in that?

Below you'll find the various unlocks found in the Krypt, as well as the exact coordinates to ensure you aren't accidentally unlocking something you didn't intend to. How to Unlock the Spider Tunnels

In order to unlock the Spider Tunnels in the Krypt, players will first have to get their hands on Scorpion's Spear. It can be found stuck to a tree in the Walkway of Souls (-13, 19). The second item you'll need is Sub-Zero's Ice Ball (-21, 20), which isn't that far from the spear you just picked up. To get into the Spider Tunnels (3, 9), return to Frozen Graves where you originally entered the Krypt.

How to Unlock Kotal's Kave

Kotal's Kave is unlocked by making your way to the Switch Passage. You might notice that as you get close you see some numbers on the wall, and as it turns out they are of great importance. Don't worry if you missed them, because we have them (4, 1, 3, 2) right here. Continue on to the end of the hall, using the switches in the order that we outlined. When you open the door you'll get 6,000 Koins, as well as access to Kotal's Kave.

How to Unlock Shao Khan's Tomb

In order to get inside Shao Khan's Tomb, you must grab Kotal Khan's Sword (22, 34) from Kotal's Kave. Head back out to the Switch Passage and follow it to the opposite end. You can use Kotal Khan's Sword to cut through the spider webs. Inside you'll find Kenshi's Katana (5, 30). From here you can head back to The Dead Woods, using Kenshi's Katana to enter Shao Khan's Tomb.

How to Unlock the White Lotus Temple

To unlock the White Lotus Temple you'll need to get your hands on Liu Kang's Fireball (0, 7) from Shao Khan's Tomb. Once you have that, make your way to the Cemetery Grounds, using Liu Kang's Fireball to open the White Lotus Temple and claim 6,000 Koins.

How to Unlock the NetherRealm

Before players can unlock the NetherRealm players will need to get inside the Shrine Entrance (-11, 12). In order to get inside the Shrine Entrance you'll need to get Jax's Rocket Launcher (0, 12) from Khan's Stronghold. After getting into the Shrine Entrance, approach the Shrine of the Dead and wager 10,000 Koins. This will get you the NetherRealm Kamidogu. Turn around and head back to the Frost path, at which point you can open the Nether Gate using the NetherRealm Kamidogu.

Shao Khan's Fortress Puzzle in MKX

To gain access to Shao Khan's Krypt players will need to find and activate three levers. Each of these can be found by accessing Shao Khan's Krypt by way of the portal located in Hollow Grounds.

If you want to truly unlock everything in the Krypyt, you're going to need to do some gambling in the Shrine of the Dead. This area, which is located in the Dead Woods Cemetery (-11,13) has a plethora of unlocks that can be won by gambling Koins.

In order to maximize your winning chances you'll want to gamble around 2,100 Koins in the Shrine of the Dead at a time. Along with the item list below, you can also win anywhere from 50 percent up to 200 percent of your Koins back.
