House Full of Surprises - Dead Island Side Quests Walkthrough

You get this quest from Richard in the Diamond Bungalows

To find him, first get to the diamond district by hopping through the fence near the lighthouse and heading down the hill onto the beach. You will run into many zombies along the way, including thugs. You can either kill them or sprint through them, whatever floats your boat.

Once on the Beach, head towards the houses on the arc on the southern side. You will see a small lifeguard shack surrounded by Zombies. Get rid of them, and inside you will find Richard who will give you a key to his house and tell you to help other survivors there if any, and to feel free to take anything you find in his house. Loot anything of interest to you in the shack before heading out to find Richard's house.

Head to Richard's Bungalow and loot what you can find there, then leave. There will be LOTS of zombies gathering outside the house, so I recommend you only go there after you have your Rage meter fully charged.
