Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning Destinies Part 7 – Might and Finesse

Tier 2
Duelist – Requirements: Might 6, Finesse 6
Bonuses: +15% Melee Damage, +7% Ranged Damage.

“With this Destiny, you quickly dispatch your enemies from both afar and close-range. Your specialty likes in delivering frequent, lethal strikes and overwhelming your adversary with varied attacks”.

Early access to this tree. You only gain a boost to your melee and ranged attacks. It helps but things get better as you level up.

Tier 3
Warden – Requirements: Might 14, Finesse 14
Bonuses: +17% Melee Damage, +10% Ranged Damage, +13% Piercing Damage, +5% Critical Hit Chance.

“As a Warden, you deal additional damage with both ranged and melee weapons. You also inflict critical damage more often by striking your enemies' weak points”.

Your damage output climbs steadily here. It also introduces a boost to likelihood of critical hits. Mix the abilities together with some light armor and you can start inflicting a lot more criticals.

Tier 4
Avenger – Requirements: Might 25, Finesse 25
Bonuses: +20% Melee Damage, +13% Ranged Damage, +10% Piercing Damage, +7% Critical Hit Chance.

“With the Avenger Destiny, you are a terror of Amalur, defeating opponents with a relentless barrage from any range. In the zealous execution of your prowess you are often able to circumvent the armor of your rival”.

Small boost overall. A building level of the class but it does help improve your damage output some. Nothing too good but things always improve in the next tier.

Tier 5
Slayer – Requirements: Might 38, Finesse 38
Bonuses: +23% Melee Damage, +15% Ranged Damage, +13% Piercing Damage, +10% Critical Hit Chance, +20% Damage while in stealth.

“Your knowledge of corporeal damage is absolute, and you promise death through the arsenal of short and long range options at your disposal. Given the opportunity, your ambush means an enemy's bloody end”.

A boost to damage while you are in stealth is something any physical rogue can appreciate. Mix with the right skills and not much will survive a back-stab. Your critical hit chance improves with everything else. It is a nice boost but not as much as other classes.

Tier 6
Blademaster – Requirements: Might 55, Finesse 55
Bonuses: +25% Melee Damage, +20 % Ranged Damage, +15% Piercing Damage, +12% Critical Hit Chance, +25% Damage while in stealth, Cut Throat: +15% Physical damage, +1% chance to Steal Health, and Gold Drops as 20% of Damage for 5 seconds when striking fallen enemies.

“Having become one with your weapons, you are capable of killing most enemies within seconds. Those who survive longer only serve to fuel your relentless onslaught. Either way, against you, their reckoning is at hand”.

The final ability here is good but the gold ability seems weirdly worded. While it is clear what it does, it is not too neat. Beyond that, your damage sees a great boost overall with the addition of Cut Throat. It is a nice end to an interesting hybrid tree.
