After talking to the child, open the door with the broken glass to your left. Enter and explore the room, there is a first aid kit on the shelves across the room. Exit to the patio. There are some stairs going down, but they lead nowhere. There is also a door to the left but it is locked. Go to the right, and find an unlocked door there, leading to inside the Bell Tower. Enter, go through the corridor, and reach a stairwell. There is another road to the left, but that one leads to a chasm.
Climb the stairs. You will see a little girl running away. Open the door, and start crossing the beam. The building will start shaking, but keep crossing it. Go down the stairs, take the first aid kit near the door. Then exit into the chapel's sanctuary. There is an altar behind a gate. As you approach it, a cutscene triggers. You see what looks like a rhyme book inside. You need to figure out a way to open this gate.
The ground shakes again. A chandelier drops from the ceiling, stopping midair. Examine the pillar close to the altar, there is a rope there. Open your inventory and use your lighter on the rope. The Chandelier drops and swings, hitting the gate. Go to the Chandelier, and swing it a few times, using it as a Ram to break open the gate. Get the Rhyme Book from the altar:
Poem Fragment 1
Poor little Steven Skelter
Even the chaplain won't forgive you
"Forever lies". Your pleading cries.
But Suzy knows you felt her.
But two of the pages in the Rhyme Book are torn out. A door open to your right. Follow the narrow path and climb the stairs to what looks like a kid's playground with a carousel, swings, horses and a sandbox. Near the Carousel, suddenly you notice some person seems to have hanged himself. But when you turn around, he disappears and there is a swing instead.
Go to the door, and enter the orphanage. Explores the first floor. There is a door leading to the kitchen, with a Screamer inside. Kill it. Keep exploring the area, in the cafeteria/dining hall area there is a crowbar which you can use if you don't have a better weapon. In another room, which appears to be some sort of changing room, there is a box with pistol bullets. When you open a gate east of the stairs, a Screamer approaches you, scratching the wall. After you have dealt with it, explore the classroom area. Find a mystery item there:
Dear Mommy and daddy
Please can I come home? It is bad at this place and I don't like it. The people are mean to me. They hurt me and the medicine makes me feel sick all the time. I am scared. Please come Get me. Love.

Near some bookshelves, a hook is leaning against the wall. Take it, as you will be needing it soon. There is a door to the north leading to a small office with some blood splattered on the floor. There you will find a Colt on the ground. After exploring the classroom, exit back to the corridor and go north, open the door and go into what looks like a theater.
