Ninja Gaiden Walkthrough Part 2 – Day 1, Part 2
Once Ryu is through the door, head down the 2 flights of stairs and exit into the next corridor to the right. Go to the end of this corridor and go to the right again. As soon as Ryu reaches the end of this corridor he is ambushed again. Be sure to wiggle and mash appropriately. Head on down the stairs and out the door to the right.
Ryu goes through a set of room, all with blood splattered about. Turn right at the room with the fire place. Just go straight until Ryu makes it outside. Immediately Ryu will be ambushed again. Respond quickly to avoid damage. Head forward to the right, up the small set of stairs. As Ryu nears them, another squad of soldiers will come at him. Dodge around and use Kunai if you cannot get a solid fix on the soldiers themselves. Otherwise, lay into them with the Dragon Sword.
After this fight another Hawk will appear. Approach it to Save and Heal. Open the door to the right. Hurry down the corridor and you will meet a Reagent of the Red Mask
Reagent of the Red Mask
This fellow starts things quickly. Immediately block as the cutscene ends to avoid massive damage. Keep blocking the the Reagent is close enough to strike. Once he is, strike him no more than 3 times with quick attacks. Much more than that and he will charge his fists and use an unblockable throw move. His hand will glow for that attack, when it is coming, wait just a moment then slide away. This battle is just as much about dodging as it is about attacking. This will continue inside until Ryu and Reagent clash for a second time. Ryu will then succeed at throwing him through the window.
Once outside, the style of battle changes. Ryu still wants to slide away, occasionally countering, but this time he will want to either use a single strong attack or the usual 3 weak strikes. To use any more is likely to provoke the Reagent to use his Throw attacks which Ryu never wants to get hit by. Just listen for his laugh to know that he is about to use a Throw attack. Aside from that, he has a few sword combos. Keep this up until the two of them clash twice in the courtyard.
Once the battle is finished and the first cinematic has run, hit Quick Attack to press events forward. After the Reagent has vanished then start to the right and through the doorway. Stumble through the alleyway to the right. Just keep moving forward and do not stop outside of when Ryu is forced to because of pain.
Just press on forward and things will wrap up for this stage after another cinematic.
