With Dunban and the Monado to the rescue, the Mechon fight that follows is even easier than those before it, mostly because Dunban not only hacks bits off of the Mechon himself, but uses the Monado Enchant Art to enable Reyn and Shulk to do so as well.
Now that there is a bit of breathing space, Reyn compliments Dunban on his skills and prowess- but Dunban’s main concern at the moment is Fiora. He asks after his sister, and Shulk and Reyn let him know that Fiora has gone to the Residential District for the Mobile Artillery. The three give a look to the debris blocking the bridge, and then plan to head the long way around- through the Commercial District to the cliffside path and from there over the secondary bridge to the Residential District.
You are now free to rearrange your party and that sort of stuff. You will find that while Dunban has a Skill Tree, he completely lacks Arts- all of his special combat techniques are granted by the Monado, and there are only two of them. This means that while you can put Dunban in the lead and run him around in battle, there’s very little to actually do while piloting the man.
Since he automatically uses Monado Enchant when piloted by the computer, I recommend leaving him be and focusing on either using Reyn or Shulk.
As none of the Mechon are much of a threat even if you’re around their level (6-8) with Dunban on your team, this is a good chance to practice using Affinity Cry and battle positioning, as well as get some spare experience and loot under your belt, by making sure you fight every Mechon you can find along your route. Just don’t get too used to having Dunban along.
With everyone in the Colony either already sheltered in the Military District or eaten by robots (?!?!?), there really is very little to do or worry about as you beat your way through the Commercial District in order to go meet up with Fiora. Do make sure you do a good bit of fighting here, there are a number of both Broken Parts and Genuine (part)s to be stripped from the invading Mechon, all of which are useful as components.
