Dragon's Dogma Walkthrough Part 31: Epicurean Delights

Check the Alehouse Notice Board in Gran Soren, in the Urban Quarter near the Fountain Square, for some sidequests:

Goal
All manner of tasks are posted here. Successful completion of each earns a base reward of 10,000 gold and 5000 experience

Details - Objectives
Acquire 5 meals of Kept Sour Ambrosial Meat
Region: All Gransys

Reward: Undulant Gold x1

Request: Meat, like fruit and fine wine, must ripen afore it peaks in flavor. Tis best just afore it rots. Only a barbarian would lunge upon it fresh from the slaughter. True culinarians wait till the meat is set to spoil, then preserve it within an Airtight Flask.

You need to find the following item:

Ambrosial Meat

This can be found as a drop from griffins, or from Oxen outside Gran Soren.

Eventually, as days pass, this turns to:

Sour Ambrosial Meat
Ambrosial Meat about to turn foul Consume it to fully recover stamina

Before it turns to:
Rotten Ambrosial Meat

To make it sour, just go on with your adventures and check every now and than. Or sleep at the inn for a few days.

Sour Ambrosial Meat Location
Rather than searching for Ambrosial Meat and waiting for it to go sour, you could search the Ancient Quarry (West of Gran Soren). Smash crates at that location and you should find some already sour Ambrosial Meat.

Now, you have to preserve it. Combine it with:

Airtight Flask
A container used to preserve materials. Place an item inside to prevent it from perishing.

You can buy Airtight Flasks from many merchants. Try Camellia's Apothecary in Gran Soren, west of Arsmith's Alehouse. Once you combine the airtight flasks and the sour ambrosian meat, you will create:

Kept Sour Ambrosial Meat
Sour ambrosial meat preserved for lengthy storage.

Report back to Arsmith when you have five of them.

This completes the quest, Epicurean Delights.
