Game of Thrones Walkthrough Part 104 – Alester – Final Chapter: Ice and Fire
With the truth revealed about the Fate of Mors' family, there is nothing that can salvage the former friendship that stood between Alester and Mors. The two must fight each other and it is a battle to the death. There will be no reprieve otherwise. The two fight and it is time for the old hatred to spill over
Objective: “Triumph over Mors in a duel”
Mors Westford
Whatever Mors had when you were last in control of him is what he will come and attack Alester with. It is worth noting that for the first part of the battle Mors will come at you in Light Armor, regardless of what he had equipped (and is plainly wearing). He is a mighty foe regardless of what class was chosen for him. Alester should focus on stunning Mors and keeping him from using his different abilities. It is very important to keep plenty of energy around for Stuns and Interrupts throughout the battle. Alester should focus on his Damage over time abilities to drain down Mors' health as much as possible. Focus on bringing Mors down to half his maximum. You will hear a pounding on the Throne room Door. It will break open once Mors is there.
Objective: “Strike down the group of Gold Cloaks that interrupted your duel.”
Harrold Celtigar will come in and demand that both Mors and Alester lay down their arms and surrender. The two ignore him and comment how the Double-Edged Sword will fight a final battle. It is a good one too. Harrold is an Elite Boss in Heavy Armor with Mace and Shield. He has a knight in Medium Armor who is a boss with a 2-handed sword and a second knight with a 2-handed sword. Supporting them you will find 4 Archers in Light Armor. Here, pull out the best area damage you have. Alester should use the best of his R'hllor abilities as Mors should use his best area attacks. The group will be very tightly packed, making it easy to tear through them all.
The two will exchange a few more words, talking about who is to blame here for the death of the Westfords. The two talk of the past and swords are drawn once again.
Objective: “There is nothing left that can prevent this fight. Your friend must die ...”
Mors' health has refreshed but so has Alester's. Just like last time, focus on keeping Mors on the ground or stunned. This is the final battle so there is nothing to hold in reserve now. Still, hold back a little until the first cutscene.
Mors will get a free charge at Alester and knock him down. After a few blows are delivered in the cutscene, Alester throws Mors off. Mors is determined to make him pay for the death of his family. The battle is entering its final phase now. There is one more surprise in the battle, but it does not happen until Mors is at half health again. He lets out a scream and begins to use a different set of attacks that you have previously seen. Just keep him occupied and it will not be long before Mors will fall.
When Mors drops he will tell Alester to finish him and to use none of his sorcery. Alester is sad to kill his old friend but sees things through to the end.
With the battle over, the Master of Whispers appears. Varys hands over the child and the final choice is to be made: Alester can offer the child to the queen, Cersei, in exchange for Riverspring or he can hide the child, ensuring his young life in the memory of Mors: Those are the 2 endings for Alester.
Congratulations on beating The Game of Thrones with Alester!
