Dragon Age Origins Walkthrough Part 39 -  Ozammar Sidequests: The Royal Palace

Head over to the Southeastern part of the Royal Palace and go through the door there. You will be attacked by 5 Tunneling Thieves. Clearing them out is helpful to the guard and some quick and easy Experience.

Caged In Stone
Head into the Throne Room and investigate the Throne. There you will find gain the codex entry, “Caged in Stone”. This has hints that can lead you to a fight with a Revenant.

Once you have the codex entry, head back into the entry room. About the middle of the room you will find a sun embossed on the floor. Stand in the middle of it to trigger the first of 3 pressure plates. Use the Hold Position option in Advanced Tactics now to be able to all party members individually.

Have another member of the party head into the Throne Room. A short ways in you will find a window recessed into the wall. Have the party member stand on either of the darker floor tiles in front of that window.

Have a third member of your party stand on the remaining darker floor tile nearby the window. You will hear something open followed by a rumble.

Lastly, have your final team member head over to the Throne and interact with it. This will cause a Dragon to spawn. Time for some draconian beat-down. Quickly turn off “Hold Position” to let the whole party engage the dragon properly. It is an easier battle than some of the other dragons in the game thankfully. After that, loot the dragon to get the unique 2-handed sword: Ageless.

Exotic Methods
Head over to the Prince's Wing. When you can access this quest depends on who you support. With Bhelen, you can access it just after completing the first task. With Harrowmont you cannot access this area until after the second task.

In the Bottom left room, second door on the left, you will find a poisoned Ambassador. In order to heal them you need to concoct an antidote. To do this, there must be a Master Herbalist in the party. The antidote itself is nothing too hard as you need the following ingredients, all of which can be bought at Figor's Imports:
Dwarven Regicide Antidote:
Elfroot x4, Lifestone x2, Flask x1, Concentrator Agent x2

Bring the completed potion to Lady Brodens. Just give it to the lady dwarf on the bed and the quest will be completed.
