Dragon Age Origins Walkthrough Part 47 – Anvil of the Void, Part 3

Through The Southern Portion of Coridin's Crossing
As you emerge into the stone hallway from the Western portion of the Crossing be sure to investigate the Statue in front of you. It will give a codex entry on the history of Orzammar. Head over to the West and look look for a pile of rubble. Here you will find another codex entry on the “Crosscut Drifters”. Keep going to the East to encounter a Bronto and 2 Genlocks. Continuing East you will find a Genlock Runner and 2 Emissaries. The problem is the Emissaries run off to collect reinforcements. Following them through the Southern Passage will lead you to the Emissaries, a Hurlock and a Shriek. Looting the Emissaries will reveal “The Topsider's Hilt” and add “The Topsider's Honor” codex entry. This is part of a quest that is completed as you pass through the thaigs and crossings in the Deep Roads. Press on to the South to find  a lot more to explore.

When you get into the center of the juncture here you will be attacked by 2 Shrieks and an Orge Alpha. Focus on the Orge as that is the toughest of the foes. Hit the Shrieks when you can but try to keep the Orge stunned or reeling as much as possible.

Once they are defeated turn to the South first to find a Fractured Stone. Here you can get loot quickly. To the North you will find another Fractured Stone with likely the same loot as to the South. If you have gathered all 4 “Crosscut Drifters” Codex Entries you will find their cache here. Now head to the East to continue onwards. This will lead you out of the tunnels and back into the Hallway, revealing the second exit to the Deep Roads. If Orghen is with you, he will remark this is the way to Ortan Thaig.
