Far Cry 3 Walkthrough Part 49 – Outpost Guide Part 8: The Rust Yard

Approach
To get a good idea of what you are going up against it is best to approach the Rust Yard from the Northeast to get a solid idea of where are the soldiers are and their dog. You also get a plain view of the alarm control panel. There are 5 soldiers and 1 dog at this Outpost. Just be careful scouting as there is a chance you will run into a tiger around here as well.

Stealth:
Approach the outpost from the West and go along side the entrance there. You will want to throw a stone and stand a bit back from the entrance. One of the soldiers will approach and come out. Take them down and drag the body back out of sight. Head inside and into the bushes on the left. Follow those behind the building. Once there throw a rock against the wall of the building to lure another guard over and kill him. Work your way further over. Repeat this process throughout the whole of the Outpost and you will be fine

Combat:
Shoot out the one alarm panel to make your life easier and skip on any reinforcements that this Outpost might get otherwise. It will make your life a lot easier. Just be careful of the dog since it can come up on you very quickly, though noisily.

Take Over:
Once you take it over it will give you access to another Path of the Predator Sidequest. Head into the Outpost's Safe House to find another memory card and a bit more loot.
