Once through the landing sequence you will find DeWitt free of the pod. He is hardly free to simply wander just yet. Head over to the left, under the sign and toward the statue. Once there go over to the left and approach the altar. On both sides of it you will find more Silver Eagles. Grab them and then turn to the right. You will find a Voxophone from Lady Comstock, “Love The Sinner”. Listen to it as you head over to the opposite side and investigate the enclave to find some more money and a little loot. After that exit this small chapel. Take a little time to search the second small chapel to find more Silver Eagles. After that approach the man in white, a Preacher. Booker will ask him where he is and all the man has to say is “Paradise, or as close as we'll get until judgment day.” With that all done head on down the stairs. The preacher, Witting, talks of the Prophet Comstock and how he stuck down their enemies at Wounded Knee and the need for baptism. Approach the rest of the circle and interact with them to join it. You can wait until the end of the sermon to join the circle. Once that has happened then you just need to accept the baptism. DeWitt gets Baptized twice.

After the second one we are treated to a flashback, explaining some of “The Debt”, in a fashion. There is a voice yelling through DeWitt's door and he saying he does not want to do it. After that you just need to head for the door with the markings on it. Open it up and you will see another cutscene. This one has a city in flames. Shortly after that DeWitt will come to in another pool.

Here he will hear a trio of pilgrims praying to the Fathers: Washington, Franklin and Jefferson. Time to make good on the opening and head up the stairs. Look to the right of the stairs on the bench. You will find more Silver Eagles to add to your wallet. Another Believer talks with you commenting on the priest's methods of things. Be sure to check the second bench as well for some items as well. After that start down the nearby path.

As you wander the path look for the pilgrims sitting by the reflecting pool. Take a moment to jump into that pool to collect the money inside it. Continue down the pathway after that, heading until the awning and investigating the benches for money and food. When you are done here just go through the doors to the right to move onto New Eden Square. Take in the sights as the bridge connections. Head on down the walkway. Look on the benches and in the trashcan on the left to see what you can find. After that, eat whatever food you can find to regenerate the lost health from the baptismal.

After all that head toward the base of the statue. Look over to the left and into the newsie's wagon to find some loot. Look around the base of the statue to find some goods behind the bushes mostly in the form of food and silver eagles. After that go over to the right and up the stairs to the small store. Look around the outside of the store some to find some more Silver Eagles and a bit more food, if DeWitt still needs it. Go into Hudsen's Fine Clothing and to the left of the counter inside to find a Kinectoscope, “Father Comstock's Gift Of Prophecy”. Head to the back of the store and look behind the cash register, against the wall, to find the next Voxophone recording, Zachery Comstock “Undeserving”.

After that step out of the store and head across the the plaza to the North. Follow the path to the Fair and Raffle today on the left. Look underneath the sign of the Fair and Raffle to find a trashcan and some loot inside it. Just head up the path until you find you are stopped by a parade. After that go across the now raised bridge and over to the left. Look around both benches here to find food and money. After that just go up the stairs to continue on.
