Borderlands 2 Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage Walkthrough Part 14 – Sidequest: Badass Crater of Badassitude, Southern Speedway (Part 1)
Walking the Dog (Badass Crater)
Talk with Tiny Tina after completing “Number One Fan” to get this quest. She wants you to walk Enrique, her puppy, to help with your training. You will find this puppy is a massive skag. She explains that he just needs to go to some of his favorite spots and he will love your face off if you do not stay ahead of him. The danger in this mission is not so much the Burning Skag chasing after you but the bandits. If they damage him a lot then he will be limping along for the rest of the mission. It is just at the first and third waypoints you genuinely need to worry about getting attacked.
At the start it is likely you will have a lot Bandits attacking Enrique. This can put him in bad shape for the rest of the mission so try to kill them all off after you open up the cage. If more show up after that point, kill them. They are very liable to kill Enrique before you can do too much. It is also important not to use Death trap or the Commando's turrets as Enrique counts as a hostile during the mission and they can/will kill him!
With the Bandits dead work on getting Enrique's attention. This can be done by either shooting him or running by him. Use the time granted by Enrique chasing after you to kill the bandits. If they start attacking Enrique, kill those fools for messing with a girl's puppy! It is a simple matter otherwise to lead Enrique from one waypoint to the next.
Rewards: Blue Assault Rifle (Boom Puppy), 6867 XP
Monster Hunter (Southern Speedway)
Head through to the Southwest from the start of the area. Make the jump and you will find yourself facing Bikers and a Monster Truck. You need your vehicle or you will be dying very quickly. You need to strafe the crap out of this fellow to get him to go down. There is a chance he can get caught on the ledge near the jump across the shallow gully. Keep that in mind if you need to get yourself some time to deal with the Bikers.
If you find yourself without a Vehicle then run to the North and climb up into the cliffs. This gives you a nice view of the valley, something resembling protection and a fair place to shoot the Monster Truck. Either way you will find yourself victorious and standing on its wreckage. Head back to the Badass Bounty Board when you are ready to turn this sidequest in.
Rewards: $2,344, Blue Relic, 6867 XP
