Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Walkthrough Part 20 – Garrison Liberation Part 1

Time to start working on the rest of the Garrisons and getting them free of the Omega Forces. This is how you unlock more credits, Predator's Path and Rescue the Hostage Missions. As the locations have no names, they are listed under their map coordinates.

Garrison (X: 540.9, Y:499.6)
This base has a total of 5 guards, without reinforcements, on foot. There is an additional pair that is roaming around in a car.

Disabling the Alarm:
Approach this garrison from the South. Deal with any external forces then head for the Southern wall of the base. You will see the Omega symbol and below it will be a way around the wall. Run up the embankment behind it and move into the storage room just in front of Rex. There is a chance the guard has gotten caught in here for an easy kill. Otherwise wait for the guard to come close and lure him in by throwing some dice. With the guard down, wait for the patrolling car to pass by. Use the storage room to lure the various troops in or away from the alarm and approach it.

Disabling The Mega-Shield:
Approach this garrison from the Northeastern side. Head through the doorway of the Mega-Shield and make a quick dash over to the left. Duck behind the concrete barriers and sneak over to the Mega-Shield controls. Just interact with it and you will take down the Mega-Shield.

Sidequests:
Liberating this garrison will give you access to the “Tiger Fist” Predator's Path.

Garrison (X: 606.2, Y:497.6)
This garrison has 1 Sniper, 1 Heavy and 4 Soldiers visible. 2 of the soldiers rests in the 2 helicopters you see on the pads. There are at least 8 more soldiers scattered throughout the garrison.

Disabling The Alarm
Approach from the South and get on the hill overlooking the Garrison. You can attempt to pick off the heavy but you need something better than basic ammo in the Kobracon for that. Grab onto the Zipline and ride it down into the base. Kill the Heavy that is right by your landing point. Quickly turn around after that and look at the base post of the Zipline you just got off. You will find an alarm control panel there. Interact with it to disable it.

Disabling The Mega-Shield
Approach from the South and get on the hill overlooking the Garrison. You can attempt to pick off the heavy but you need something better than basic ammo in the Kobracon for that. Grab onto the Zipline and ride it down into the base. From there just dash over to the right and onto the raised platform. You will find the Mega-Shield control button there. After that just throw out a Cyber-Heart and let the Blood Dragon take care of the rest.

Liberating this garrison will give you access to the Predator's path: “Insurance Scammer.”
