Tom Orry, Editorial Director - Diablo 3, PS4
I'm now onto Act IV of Diablo 3 on PS4 and I'm not sure I'll ever get bored. I'm pretty sure I'm playing it as wrong as any person could possibly do, barely having a clue what's going on inside the menus and not once joining forces with another human player. I should probably increase the difficulty too, as I beat the final boss of Act 3 in about two seconds, before he'd even managed to lay a finger on me.
Dave Scammell, News Editor – The Crew, PS4
As a "driving MMO", initial impressions suggest The Crew doesn't do a very good job at achieving what it sets out to achieve. The handling is weak, its missions are painfully generic, it often only pulls a handful of players into your world, and getting into a race with other people is far more challenging than it is playing solo.
But even with all that 'bad stuff', there's a certain endearing quality to it. Earning XP, levelling up your car and exploring the world is predictably compelling, even if it can often feel like the backdrop to a sub-par racer. Would I recommend it over DriveClub or Forza Horizon 2? At this stage, absolutely not. But I'm prepared to stick it out a bit longer to see if those addictive hooks can evolve into something a little more substantial.
Brett Phipps, Staff Writer - The Evil Within, PS4
I've been playing Evil Within for a couple of hours each night and have finally made it to the final boss, which is ridiculously hard. Tonight will be my final attempt before giving up and watching the final moments on YouTube. I know, shameful, but with at least six other games on the shelf untouched, Mikami can only eat up so much of my time before I must move on to something else.
Also, during one of the scariest moments of the game, my dad decided to barge into the room without even knocking. I may have swore at him, and a little bit of wee might have come out.
