I'm really enjoying this. I know the game lot a fair bit of buzz last year, but I think playing Wolf directly after Advanced Warfare was the best time to come to it, as it shows just how much more a pure shooter it is. Sledgehammer's game is superior in numerous ways and I had a great time with it, but in terms of actual shooting, Machine Games' effort is better. It's far from perfect, though, and even a few hours in there are tonal problems that jar slightly.

Well, I can't tell you about one of the games that I've been playing this week, as I'm sworn to secrecy by the NDA police. But let's just say that I wasn't very Quaker Oats about it, if you know what I mean. Yes.

What else, then. Some more PES. I finished my Dying Light review, which you can read here. Erm...some other games, surely. Resident Evil HD. I went to Nando's as well, and openly called for my assassination. If you don't think Nando's qualifies as a game, then why do they give you points for going in there?

Exactly.

Dave Scammell, News Editor – Club Nintendo Product Registration

clubb -

I've been putting it off for years, but Nintendo's finally forced me into registering all those Stars I've built up over the last decade. No wonder it's scrapping the bloody thing, though. It only took about three surveys before deciding the rewards probably aren't worth the time it's going to take to get through the stack.

But while registering a game is, by the very definition, a dull process, when you consider Club Nintendo was built by the same people that made system transfers charming, it's disappointing that it lacks the warm, fuzzy feeling that registering a game should give you, or even a basic user-friendly option to auto-complete standard information.

It'll be sad to see Club Nintendo go, but if it leads to a better system I'll be glad to see the back of it.

I completed Resident Evil last week and immediately began my attempt at a sub-three hour speed run.

A three hour-run unlocks the rocket launcher, under five you get the Samurai Edge pistol. I set the difficulty to Very Easy to reduce zombie interference and learn the mansion better.

I finished with a time of 3:59:00. Brilliant. I unlocked the pistol, or so I stupidly thought. I forgot the small fact that you have to complete the game on Normal to unlock anything.

Attempt number two has been a disaster. Normal should be called 'Bastard'. Plus I'm lost in the east wing, somewhere, I think I have the serum, maybe? I refuse to give up, though. Until next week.
