The much anticipated entry in the Assassin’s Creed series has finally arrived, and like many of the other games, there are some fun and interesting Easter eggs to find. Assassin’s Creed IV also has some new cheats for players to use to manipulate the environment around them. Want to experience them for yourself? Read on to learn how to find these Easter eggs and unlock the cheats.
Cheats are unlocked as you complete Abstergo Challenges. After completing a certain number of challenges, hit the pause button and go to the ‘challenges’ menu. Select ‘cheats’ and turn on whichever cheat you want to use. While you have a cheat turned on, your game will not save. Keep this in mind before you quit!
This unlocks after completing 10 challenges. It lets you control the day and night cycle.
Unlock this cheat after finishing 20 challenges. This makes Edward speak in pirate clichés.
This cheat will unlock after completing 30 challenges. It will turn of health regeneration for Edward and the Jackdaw.
This unlocks after you complete 40 challenges. Use it to automatically put your wanted level at max. It won’t reduce.
After 50 challenges have completed, you can use this cheat. This will make Edward constantly drunk.
This unlocks after 60 challenges have been completed. This gives you the option to eliminate waves completely or turn on big waves constantly.
After completing 70 challenges, you can use this cheat. It makes Edward and the Jackdaw invincible.
This silly cheat unlocks after you finish 80 challenges. It will turn all your enemies into Rabbids!
After 90 challenges have been completed, you can use this cheat. It gives Edward and the Jackdaw unlimited ammo.
After finishing a whopping 100 challenges, you can use this cheat to turn all the crew of the Jackdaw into skeletons.
When outside of the Animus, you can find a hidden email conversation at a hacked terminal between two Abstergo employees that details the options for the location of the next Assassin’s Creed game.
Hacking one of the computer terminals in the Abstergo will unlock some information about the fate of Desmond Miles after Assassin’s Creed III.
In the database entry for ocelots, you can find notes that read “We may have to consider putting tigers and cassowaries in these jungles too.”, to which someone responds “Please, no. I beg of you.” This is a reference to a creature in Far Cry 3, one that drove many players crazy.
In Nassau, you’ll need to complete an assassination mission for a pirate whose name is Mancomb Seepgood. This is the name of the first pirate encounted in the game The Secret of Monkey Island.
When you go to the Antocha Wreck at the coordinates 630,600, you can uncover a short cutscene of a giant squid and a whale battling in the sea.
When you are in the Abstergo offices, you can overhear some of the employees talking about Watch Dogs. You might hear them talking about the Chicago security company Blume, which is the company featured in the other Ubisoft game. There is also a Blume presentation found after hacking a terminal in your work station.
