Hearthstone Pro Guide: Proven Strategies to Get 12 Wins in The Arena

The Arena

The arena is an area in Hearthstone that costs gold or money. You need 150 gold or $1.99 to get in. When you reach the end of the arena, you are guaranteed to get a pack of cards. The arena is a good way to get new cards and some gold. The gold you get goes up with each win, so you could even win more gold then you entered with. Battling in the arena is also more cost effective then just buying a card park, which costs 100 gold or $2.99 for two packs.

Classes

There are nine different classes in this game, all from WoW. You can choose from the hero classes Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Druid, Shaman, Hunter, and Warlock. Each class has different cards and abilities. To learn more about each class, practice against the A.I. at first. This will help you unlock all the classes so you can try them out.

  • Druid – This is a versatile class that can use some weapons. Druids can also use a lot of enhancements on their minions. Their unique power is Shapeshift, which adds 1 attack to the turn and adds 1 armor.

  • Hunter – Hunters use beast type minions to assist them. They also use ranged weapons to attack. The Hunter ability is Steady Shot, and it deals 2 damage to the enemy hero.

  • Mage – Mages use strong spells to deal damage to enemies. Spells can be single target or multi-target. They have the unique ability Fireblast, which deals one damage.

  • Paladin – Paladins are well-rounded heroes that use equipment to attack and defend. The Paladins power is Reinforce, which summons a 1/1 Silver Hand Recruit.

  • Priest – Priests are a healing class, and they can take care of themselves and their minions. They can also use some Shadow abilities for damage. Their unique ability is Lesser Heal, which restores 2 health.

  • Rogue – Rogues use weapons to attack enemies without using a lot of mana. Their unique ability is Dagger Mastery, which allows them to equip a ½ dagger.

  • Shaman – The Shaman class uses totems to assist them. Totems can also do damage to enemies. The unique power for the Shaman is Totemic Call. This power summons a random Totem.

  • Warlock – Warlocks can summon demons to accompany them. However, summoning these minions has a negative effect on the Warlock. Their unique ability is Life Tap, and it lets the hero draw a card, but they take 2 damage.

  • Warrior – This is a weapon class. This class focuses on attack foes directly. They can also take out minions instantly with certain abilities. The Warrior has the Armor Up! ability, which adds 2 armor.

Consider Your Deck

Don’t just throw some cards together and expect to win. You need to have a plan, and your deck should reflect your class. Make sure you have cards for dealing damage, summoning minions, buffing yourself, and healing. A well-rounded deck will ensure you can take out your enemy’s hero and win gold.

Fatigue

When you are out of cards, you’ll start suffering from fatigue. Fatigue will deal damage to you each turn you don’t have cards. It will gradually become stronger and stronger the longer you go without cards in your deck. You need to defeat your opponent as soon as possible at this point, otherwise, you will perish.

Gold

Gold is the currency in Hearthstone, and you’ll need it for just about everything. There are many ways to earn gold. The arena is a popular way to earn gold, but you will only get a good amount if you win many battles. Another way to earn gold is by completing the various achievements. Finally, don’t forget to do daily quests for some gold rewards.

Hold On To Cards

Just because you can cast a card doesn’t mean you should. Holding on to your cards is a smart idea. This way, you can use combos and deal maximum damage. Think carefully before using your cards – there’s no rush and you want to make sure you pick the best move for the battle.

Know Your Enemy

You will be able to see the enemy hero and what class they are. Use this knowledge to your advantage. Be familiar with the classes so that you know how to best attack your enemy. Pick your best cards based on how your enemy will play.

Minions

Heroes can summon minions to help them fight. Generally, you want to try to take out minions before attacking the hero. This will keep you from taking too much damage and you will be able to gauge how much power you need to use.
