Try getting a job from other people, such as mining, woodcutting, fencemaking, etc. Note: To work quickly, be sure to raise the skill you will be using for jobs first.
Killing animals:
Try to get animals to follow you. Stay far enough away so it cannot hurt you. While they are following, go to a deeded area a village and let the spirit guards kill it. This works well with bears. Note: Try to stay on roads while doing this
