Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D; Gears location and uses guide

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D  is an action-adventure video game developed by Nintendo. It was released in February 2015. The game is an enhanced remaster of The legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask which was released in 2000.  The game once again stars Link from the previous Zelda games.

Link has a large armoury of gear at his disposal in this game which helps him carry more rupees, arrows, bombs and other equipment. And also there are certain items which are required by him to complete certain quests and challenges and collect more pieces of Hearts. This guide will tell you about every piece of Gear that is in the game, it’s location and other factors of obtaining it.

Adult Wallet

Where to get: South Clock Town
What it does: It lets Link carry 200 Rupees.
To get this you need to deposit 200 rupees or more into your bank account.

Giant Wallet

Where to get: Great Bay Coast – Oceanside Spider House
What it does: It lets Link carry 500 Rupees.
To get this you need to collect all 30 Golden Skulltula Spirits in the Oceanside Spider House and then talk to the man sitting on the entrance.

Bomb Bag
Where to get: West Clock Town – Bomb Shop
What it does: It lets Link carry 20 bombs.
You can buy it for 50 Rupees from the Bomb Shop.

Big Bomb Bag

Where to get: West Clock Town – Bomb Shop
What it does: It lets Link carry 30 bombs.
To get this you need to stop the thief from robbing the old lady in the North Clock Town during the Night of the First Day. When you’re done, buy it for 90 Rupees on the Second or Final Day.

Biggest Bomb Bag

Where to get: Goron Village
What it does: It lets Link carry 40 bombs.
To get this, give the Business Scrub your Big Bomb Bag and 200 Rupees and acquire the Biggest Bomb Bag.

Bombers Notebook

Where to get: Clock Town – Clock Tower
What it does: A journal carrying all the warrior accomplishments achieved by the players.
To get this you need to reclaim the Ocarina of Time from the Skull Kid and speak to the Mask Salesman.

Fishing Hole Pass

Where to get: Clock Town
What it does: It lets Link get one free fishing rod rental at the Swamp or Ocean Fishing Hole.
You can easily win this as a reward from the Honey & Darling Shop or Deku Scrub Playground.

Gilded Sword

Where to get: Mountain Village – Smithy
What it does: This can be considered as a superior version of the Razor Sword
To get this sword, don’t grab the Razor Sword and also give the smithy some Gold Dust to reforge the weapon.

Kokiri Sword

What it does: A standard sword for attacking the foes.
This is a default item.

Got’s Remains

Where to get: Snowhead Temple
What it does: A mask left by Goht and is required to challenge Skull Kid.
To get this you need to defeat Goht, the Snowhead Temple Boss.

Gyorg’s Remains

Where to get: Great Bay Temple
What it does: A mask left by Gyorg and is required to challenge Skull Kid.
To get this you need to defeat Gyorg, the Great Bay Temple Boss.

Hero’s Shield

What it does: A standard shield for blocking incoming attacks.
It is a default item.

Mirror Shield

Where to get: Ikana Canyon – Under the Well
What it does: A special shield which has the ability to reflect the rays of light.
It can be found under the well at the very end of the ruins.

Quiver

Where to get: Woodfall Temple
What it does: It allows Link to carry 30 arrows.
You’ll get this item by default when you get the hero’s bow.

Large Quiver

Where to get: East Clock Town – Shooting Gallery
What it does: It lets Link carry 40 arrows.
To get this you need to score at least 40 points or more in the Town’s Shooting Gallery.

Largest Quiver

Where to get: Swamp Trail – Shooting Gallery
What it does: It lets Link carry 50 arrows.
To get this you shouldn’t miss any monster and make a high score of 2,120 or more.

Ocarina of Time

Where to get: South Clock Town
What it does: This legendary item allows Link to control time.
To get this  you need to climb the top of the Clock Tower during the night of the Final Day, and hit the Skull Kid with Deku Link’s bubbles.

Olowa’s Remains

Where to get: Woodfall Temple
What it does: An old mask left by Odolwa which is required to challenge the Skull Kid.
To get this you need to defeat the Odolwa, the Woodfall Temple Boss.

Pictograph Box

Where to get: Southern Swamp – Tourist Center
What it does: Link can use it to take a picture of anything he wants.
To get this you need to speak to the man inside the Swamp Tourist Center.

Razor Sword

Where to get: Mountain Village – Smithy
What it does: A strong blade
To get this you need to pay the smithy 100 Rupees. It would take you a full day to get the sword Forged.

Twinmold’s Remains

Where to get: Stone Tower Temple
What it does: A mask left by the Twinmold and is required in order to challenge the Skull Kid.
To get this you need to defeat Twinmold, the Stone Tower Temple Boss.
