Remember that in this game, you’ll need to keep your guard up not only for the AI-controlled enemy, but also opposing players. As such, you should make it a point to have enough land mines, guard towers, and other ways to defend your base. And when you’re building your base, you’ll get a higher XP level and also a chance to upgrade your headquarters once you’ve got enough XP.
There’s nothing more fun than pulling a fast one on your opponents, and in order for you to do that, it’s a good idea to create dome units or place your rally flag in such a way that you’ll be catching the enemy off guard. For example, these dome units can release a Tactical High Energy Laser to surprise enemies who send tanks to your base. You can also use your domes to throw off helicopters with a domed aerial defensive setup. As for rally flags, we suggest placing them behind trees, as this would be the best strategic location to ensure your enemies are caught unaware.
There are a few options you can choose from when it comes to attacking enemy bases. First of all, you can use a flare for one Command Point – this would allow you to control your troops when fighting, all in real time. And when you’ve hit Level 4 HQ, you can either send your troops off in one unit, or in multiple units.
Strike Force is an ability that gets unlocked once your headquarters reach Level 4, and this would let you bolster your defenses, make your troops stronger, and gain more Command Points. Simply tap on the icon you see on the bottom left corner, and you can access the Strike Force Menu and choose which aspect of your base you wish to strengthen.
In Empires & Allies, it pays to have other friends playing the game. You can make your own alliance or join existing ones (you should connect your game to Facebook or Game Center first), and once you’ve got your own alliance, you can talk about your mission plans in secret. Aside from that, having allies allows you faster upgrades and the opportunity to share resources.
