One thing you may notice early on is that you’ll need to deal with a cool down period of sorts before your energy is replenished – that is if you choose not to buy an energy pack. But you can use the time lapse cheat to your advantage in HonorBound – move the time forward by five minutes per unit of energy to get yourself replenished without having to buy an energy pack to speed up the process.
Changing your phone or tablet’s time can also work wonders for other purposes aside from replenishing your energy. This works if you want to complete a research project, for instance – quit the game, move the time forward based on how long it takes to finish the research, and return to the game to find it all completed. Research can help you increase the maximum coins and embers you can earn, making this quite a practical cheat.
These include rings, which you’ll find in certain HonorBound levels; equip your characters with them by going to the squad section and hitting “I” next to the character of your choice and you’ll see their skills improving. Likewise, embers can also be used to improve your characters’ stats, using the same process – hitting on “I” on the squad section, then tapping on the plus sign besides rank, attributes, and ability.
Rating HonorBound is harmless and, in fact, it can actually be of great help to you. That’s because rating the game will automatically get you 100 free diamonds the next time you log into HonorBound.
This is classic RPG mechanics at work here – the rarer the hero, the worthier they are of being evolved. Certainly you don’t want to waste your time and money on a common hero that doesn’t have much upside, right? One way to get special heroes is to use the capture feature in HonorBound.
This is another common sense tip that’s shared across most, if not all RPGs – you want a healer on your team in battle for anyone in your squad who gets injured, especially during tough battles.
