Before you step into your in-game monster truck (or whatnot) and tackle all these courses, it might be a good idea for you to check out our Offroad Legends 2 cheats, tips and strategy guide if you’re looking for an early advantage.
Typically, racing games will start you out with the most basic tuning possible; everything’s balanced out perfectly, though this is far from the optimal tuning for your ride. These games challenge you to find the proper mix when it comes to tuning your vehicle, but that’s not the case in Offroad Legends 2. Many have seen that default tuning is actually the best way to go, and a fairly reliable way to help you get three stars, though it also depends on other factors apart from tuning.
It may sound like the safe route to take – land on all four tires after a jump, thus avoiding damage and allowing you to hit the ground running. But that’s not always a safe way to go, to be perfectly honest. There are some jumps that are too steep for comfort, and if you land from such a height, you’ll only end up damaging your tires. When it comes to those big jumps, try landing on the rear tires instead.
When reaching the lower part of a hill, you may be tempted to go for a jump. That’s not an entirely safe tactic, nor one that will allow you a lot of speed and/or momentum. If you want to have some momentum off a hill, the best way to go is on all four tires, instead of through a fancy (or not too fancy) jump.
Again, we have to go back to what we told you earlier – don’t go for the obvious, because the obvious isn’t always the best. Instead, think outside of the box when trying to earn three stars and finish levels faster. Sometimes you may stumble upon the solution, other times you may have to look for it yourself by avoiding a jump or dodging an obstacle.
Both of these options are rather hard to unlock – you’ll need to find all these trucks’ spare parts – but if you are able to unlock them, it’ll be all worth it in the end. ű
