What you need to do first is to draw the route of where you want to throw your axe. For instance, you wish to collect a series of coins in a row, so first you need to draw a line over those coins and the axe will pick them up for you. Also using your axe, you can throw it towards your enemies before it reach Max or else your run is over.
To do a combo you should make a chain of eliminating monsters and coin collections at once. Just remember that you can only throw your axe at one direction but if there are lots of coins and enemies on the same direction, you can draw a line and hit them with your axe. Definitely more coins and enemies to be hit, the higher the combo count and it will let you to receive more coins.
Aside from knocking down all of your nemesis, getting some stuffs is one that gives you an all new excitement. Yes hitting your enemies is fun but it is more exciting if you are gathering coins at the same time makes your excitement double. So how could you get tons of loot? Of course you can see them in your environment which includes stack of wood and bushes, just strike these items so you can reveal the hidden bonuses. You will also see rocks in your environment but don’t bother hitting it because hitting them with the axe cause it will definitely drive them mad and they’ll come after Max to finish his run.
You will be facing a lot of enemies as you walk on but there’s nothing to worry because you can throw more than one axe. Yes! You’ve got it right, you can throw multiple axes at a time. Throwing multiple axes at a time is really a big help especially if you are facing numerous enemies. But make sure that you are throwing your axes in the right way to make them count so stay focus and active.
Leveling-up or stepping in another higher level is not that tough as you think because you can easily achieve this by completing a number of runs, collecting coins or killing a certain amount of enemies which is the objective of the game. As you complete a certain stage or level, you can manage to gain the access of new abilities and items that you can use in the next stages that you will going to encounter.
Health – This is not quite important in every battle or rather adventure so there’s no such thing that you will walk-on with this. It is basically a helmet that allows you to take a hit during your run without stopping it. It embarks on Rusty Bucket but you can powered it up all the way through the King’s Crown.
Damage – This will give your axe a super strength over the course of your run. With this, you can take down shielded enemies in no sweat. You’ll start with the Throwing Hatchet and work your way up.
Axe Speed – This will increase the velocity of your throws. Inline with this is the so called Axe Range which can be improved, expanding how far you can throw them.
