If you notice we already mentioned from our tips and tricks that saving Grenades and RPGs will give you advantage on later stage, we strongly believe that this is the right time. But actually that will stand as your last resort since bosses from 1-7 missions is not too hard to defeat if you know what to do. You can actually take them down using X-SPRY and MACHINE and when facing Snipers, Sure Shot and Piecer is enough to kill them. Purchasing premium weapons or using grenade/RPG is not definitely necessary especially if you are looking for a great challenge. So here’s the trick so you can easily manage it with an ease even without spending cash for premium items.
You first thing to do is to see if you health goes down too quickly, if yes you are facing two situation, either you are not hiding enough and still taking damage or you have a low level for that stage and the result is low HP. You can also consider the help of your squadmate in taking boss. Never underestimate their capability to unleash damage against enemies. Upon defeating boss you can get grenade, RPG and gold.
Most mistakes happen when you are in rush to change your cover. The trick is to wait until the last second to move to the next cover when really need to move location.
Just push your opportunity to attack the soldier while the armored tank is not yet on the battle. Once this tank appear just ignore it and focus on dealing damage on soldier.
With the help of your X-SPRY (Max) just keep your attention on killing the drone and if this boss releases their mini-drones, focus on eliminating those minions and not minding the enemy soldiers at all.
There are two ways to attack the boss for longer duration. This is as soon as the tank appears on scene and when the tank change its position to the second spot. One thing you should avoid is the cannon shot and tank machine gun. You need to take patience in dealing damage with this boss as this will take longer than other boss fight.
The same as in Nitro Blast you need to spend patience here as you need to focus first on the soldiers before dealing damage against the armored vehicle using your machine gun. It is not advisable to attack the vehicle once it appears on the game as you will only draw its attention and make it difficult for you to eliminate two enemies at once. It is better to let your squadmates draw the attention towards them so you are free to attack it massively.
You must use your RPG here since you need to exert more damage or else you will get killed right after you finish the boss. This is the trick, just launch the RPG when then Drone pulls backwards as you have more chance to do damage. After destroying the main drone now you can focus on kill the soldiers using your sniper rifle. (Both weapon should be maxed level together with 3 squadmates)
If you asking what is the best weapon to use in Frontline Commando 2 that you can use until the end of the game are the Machine, Piercer and Wrecker. You need to invest on their firepower as this what you will use in the long run especially Machine and Piercer are what you need for both episodes 7 and 8.
You can consider Mad Dog, Brawl and Spike as your ace squadmates since they are easy to obtain from the early stage and invest on them by increasing their levels.
