After those basic stuff, now let’s go with the left side of your screen where you will see the Task Manager with corresponding display of all the work you are currently into. Here as a beginner you have only one slot available but after spending resources you will likely to see more projects going on at once. While on the right hand of your screen you will see the Mission tab together with bonus task that will refresh often after performing various task like combat and hacking with the areas you already conquered.
Battle will require you to explore such things while as you experience in discussing the map feature, you can already explore through it. When exploring you need only to drag your finger around the screen to view and just go for zoom if you want for more details visions. Different objects and enemies that can perform an interaction will be highlighted so players can easily notice it and do a double-tapping call of action. Just remember some key legends for exploration such as green for resources, orange for hacking and story mini-games and red for enemies.
Battle has different interface such as using items like grenades and health packs are in lined located at the top of your screen while you see the pause button located at the top-right corner of your screen. Your primary weapon commonly assault rifle is displayed located in the bottom-right of your screen together with your health bar stretching most all the way at the bottom of the screen. And lastly the aimed shot button and the button for your pistol that are both in bottom-right corner.
Now that you are ready to fight you must understand few things including – in combat the commander and his companion will do attack automatically, meaning to say you really don’t need to matter them anymore just focus on your task in playing game. When it comes to item and weapon switching you can easily tap on the item you wish to use or tap to a weapon to make switch. You can also tap on a weapon that’s already equipped to reload. Now that you are reloading you can tap on the bar that will appear in front of you to complete the action even faster just be reminded not to miss or else you will lose seconds as the commander paralyze his gun. And finally to do such attack, you can tap on the enemy to select and then swipe to the side of cycle between them.
For defensive measure you can swipe down to go into cover. This technique is effective against enemies who use massive ranged attacks. Here you may swipe up or tap on an enemy you’ve already selected in order so you will stand back up and start shooting again against it.
If you encounter enemy that has capability to launch grenade-based attack, just tap the red icon as it moves through the air and just disable it and avoid damage. If you can manage to switch to your primary weapon when an enemy moves in to do a melee attack it will be possible for you to slow the action down and do extra damage. Don’t forget to have a good interaction with your fingers.
Spam your cover strategy. As possible as you can do cover, you must do it as of course you really don’t want to spend each fight taking damage from one another. With the help of cover, it will greatly reduce the damage from your opponent. So try to make a cover especially every time you reload and don’t worry your rush with your companion as they can handle themselves and do attack while you’are behind the cover.
Don’t mind reloading. Definitely it will reload automatically and based on other players’ idea, it is better to let everything automatic especially with your reloading than to risk a jam in the middle of the fight. So go shoot as you can while maximizing the power of cover, don’t waste any chance of making a damage against opponent.
Focus on orange targets. As we explained different icon you might see on your map, you already understand what orange target means and this is what you really need to keep an eye with. This will pop up often while you are in combat against enemy and if you master the art of timing, you can always make an extra damage from it.
Don’t skip the arrows underneath your enemies. This is useful as it indicates they intention of moving forward. Most enemies can do massive damage if they get close to you and with this you can have the idea on what they do next so you can anticipate and definitely make a positive counter for it.
Master the Aimed Shot. This is very useful in game especially when targeting enemies behind the cover but you should consider of not waiting for them to take down before using it. If you have a shot especially if you are only hunting one enemy left, you might take it even they are behind a cover or not.
Mind your ammo. Although we said such things about reloading, it doesn’t mean that you don’t need to mind your ammunition at all. Yes your pistol never runs out of ammunition but your primary weapons has limited numbers of ammo to shot.
Grind on missions. Don’t be tired with mission as you should grind on it as you can. Though mission refresh for new challenge often, you can still practice there your own skill of playing Evolution as well as grinding resources for it.
Search the area thoroughly. Do not waste your chance to find extra resources such as fuel that is essential in this game including constructions, trading, manufacturing and terraforming. They are present in some places and what you really need to do is to go search for it.
Don’t forget your gear. You need to equip it manually by visiting the profile menu and because there is no further explanation for it, there are some time that players missed to equip gears.
