To let you activate the class’ skill tree you need to find the specific trainer for it. As we mentioned in our guide there are 12 different classes you can play in game corresponds with different skills and trainer. Five of them are initial that you can select from the very beginning of the game on which skill tree you will adopt and the other seven classes are secret or these classes that you need to unlock first before you can use their skills. You can check this guide on how can you unlock all classes in Battleheart Legacy. Now it is time to discuss to you how each class differs from one another as well as their role in game.

1. Rangers – This play as archer in game where you can use bow to take advantage with the range. You can also place traps that will help you to empower your defense. Skills and Trainers

To unlock different skill tree based on character you need to find the skill trainer for it. In Academy you will find default skill trainers but not all class master as we mentioned there are some skill that you need to unlock first by finding the corresponding trainer on it. For instance, the Bard is located at the Feathered Cap and Witchcraft can be learned from the witch where you need to find at the Gloomy Path dungeon. There is also a new academy when you reach the city center where you meet new trainers outside the academy.

In selecting the class, it is not necessary to stick with single class only as you can experiment working in different class once you unlocked it. But again it is seriously suggested that you shouldn’t spread your stats too much because in the end once you need to learn those powerful skills in the higher line, you will be lack of stats to distribute. Basically you can create a hybrid type from two classes as maximum. And for you to make it possible, you need to manage distributing your stats with your skill tree as well as working with a good combination like monk class and knight because monk has low in defense, you can use the skill of knight to fortify your defense and so on. The trick here is to experiment the good combination of classes. Later on we will post further guides for hybrid class on how can we get the effective combination of classes in Battleheart Legacy.

In managing your stats, you need to learn more about skill trees and where your build is going. Don’t forget that all skill trees are linear, meaning to say you need to purchase first the current skill to proceed to more powerful skill. In game you will start with 4 skill slots in your character menu and as you make progress and gain level increase, two or more skill slots will be unlocked. Here you can equip a different skill and manage it by tapping your character avatar and then proceed to Skill tab and then tap on the slot where you can select the skill you wish to equip. Upon learning a skill you need to have enough gold and stats. From here you will think of getting more gold as you are going up with your skill tree, new skill become more expensive.

Stats

We already mentioned about stats and which stats you should boost for every class. For you to understand it completely, here are some explanation on how stats work.

Strength – General basis of melee damage. You need strength if you are going to build up knight, barbarian, monk and paladin class.

Dexterity – This will give you ratings with your dodging, improves archery and light melee weapons such as dagger for Ninja and Rogue.

More available heavy equipment that will require a certain stats from your character to equip such as endurance for heavy armor.

There are lots of available quests that will make you busy in playing game. Just visit the quest log and there you will see the list in order of available quest you can complete. In game you are also guided by yellow exclamation icons in the right area as this will notify you where you need to look to complete such quest.

Dungeons – This is where you can encounter battles. Upon entering a dungeon there is only one way out and this is by reaching back to the entrance and this will require your to defeat all enemies or when you failed on it.

Map – This is your friend in finding important location to work with your quest or unlock other classes. In game you are only able to access map while you are in secured areas such as town or clean dungeon. In the map you can move your character from one point to another. You are able to see areas or zones in map with big yellow exclamation mark meaning to say you already completed a quest there.

Additional Hints

  • Upon getting a new level and acquire additional stats to work with your skill, we recommend to wait until you come back to the skills house where you can manage your stat points better upon having a opportunity to choose the right stats for the exact skill you wish to acquire next.
  • We already mentioned about the gold and how you need to improve getting of it so you can unlock more skills in the later part. Well the trick of getting gold is by completing quests and collecting coins from enemies.
  • If you have a chance to battle with Ogre, don’t destroy the silver chest and instead open it with Ogre’s key so you can claim better rewards.
  • Do not buy potions as this replenish automatically after every dungeon run. What you need to do is to use your 5 available potion wisely.
