1. Activating acorns multiplier. As you collect several acorns in a streak, you are able to start building up a multiplier. If you are looking forward to earn more points, this is the best method for you so you can build up scores. Just keep you combo going and remember if happens that you miss even a single acorns, you will lose your multiplier bonus. In game, you can activate up to five multiplier.
2. Don’t tap near the bottom of the screen. Just like with other apps that placed their annoying advertisement banner near the bottom of the screen, you will find it a problem here in Squirly as this area where you will find Squirly and makes you accidentally tap the banner. So the trick here is to tap near the middle or top area and not with the bottom. With this, you are far away from the destruction against the banner as well as giving you more visibility with Squirly.
3. Stay in the middle. This is to response in being the safest area to stay. While you are in middle area, you have more room to avoid obstacles as you can go left and right. Aside from that, you’ll be out of a snake’s reach and vines that usually can’t reach the all the way to the center most of the time. With this position, you can focus on monkey who basically appears near the top of the screen and throws banana missiles towards you.
4. Avoid the mushrooms. Keep in mind that mushrooms are in game that will show up basically the opposite of acorns. Instead of earning points, collecting mushrooms make you lose points. It is good to avoid mushrooms especially if you are aiming for higher score but don’t risk your life just to get out of the way. In the end of the day, you will say that still survival-ability is the key to earn higher score.
5. Collect the golden acorns. While you have mushrooms to avoid, there is also a golden acorns in game that you need to prioritize in collecting. Through the amount of golden acorns you are able to gain an extra supersquirly! Supersquirly plays as a continue token that will allow you to keep your progress in the game. Supersquirly is available to use three times in a single run.
