1. New updates: Candies. Good to know that there is new feature that we can enjoy from Don’t Touch The Spikes and this is candies as a form of currency. Candies are able to purchase from official in-app store or you can collect them as you play the game. Candies are not only a currency but these can be your guide out of spikes. Since candies almost never pop up in spikes, you can take advantage by following it to find a safe space on the wall.
2. Spending candies. As you collected lots of candies, you can now use these to purchase new birds. You will start from using 10 candies for starter bird and as you make progress in game and unlocked more birds, they get expensive up to 2,500 candies. The trick here is to just ignore those cheap birds and directly purchase your bet. You can save 2,500 candies all the way as the most expensive bird. Sad to say, new birds don’t have a performance factor and this is all about collection in game.
3. Score cheat. There are lots of players already did this and they are what you will see in the leaderboard having so much high scores. Definitely you can easily notice them as their score is impossible to outrank. They are players who already cheated the game using iExplorer or File Explorer. To do this just go into the source code of the game using the said tool (File Explorer or iExplorer) and there you are able to find a hex code that corresponds with your scores. Here you can control the properties of the spikes on the wall or how many spikes you will encounter in game together with high score setting where you can set the score to whatever number you wish.
4. Removing candies. Yes, if you don’t like the updates, you can still play the game in this old version. Just go to the candy store and just tap the disable candies setting and you will never see candies on your way. Though there is no such advantage technically in collecting those currency, but this is a good motivator to continue playing the game as you can collect more candies you can unlock additional birds.
