In Starborn Anarkist you will experience playing an old arcade based game in the newest action pack for your mobile device. I believe this kind of game who take over the gaming schemes on early 90’s so for those who didn’t made their opportunity to play the game before and now this is your chance to play and feel the same rush with Starborn Anarkist. To ensure that you are going to enjoy it disregarding the difficult challenge you will face in this game, we decided to share some tips and guides for playing:

1. Upgrade System. Before, arcade  gaming don’t have a feature to save your progress. There is no memory card only a continue option that will be granted to you upon inserting a new credits. Well thanks to the greatest gift of civilization in video games schemes you can use memory card now to save your progress and this makes everything complicated especially with upgrade system. You must master this system especially if you really wish to dominate the game. There are upgrade rules that the game follows from old arcade shooting game but then this time it is important to take note that there are two settings for you you to control your upgrade. From the main menu, you can tap the Settings and then just go to the Game so you can change the upgrade system between Uniform that comes to be an easy way or Individual for hard settings. As you can see upon destroying enemy ships, they are able to drop upgrade having the color attached to them.

When it comes to upgrade there are gun upgrade, engine upgrade and shield upgrade and either one of these can be blue, green and red. For every color it has a capability to do something from other but you can only have one color on a part at a time. Now here’s the catch, when you set it to Uniform, you only have to mind collecting upgrades under the same color as all three attributes will upgrade when you get the same color. For instance, if you claim a green gun upgrade, your engine and shield parts will upgrade up the green path as well until it reach the maximum level of 10. Just be alarmed that if you get another color, your parts will level down back to one. If ever that you set it to Individual, you are allowed to upgrade your three categories separate from one other. So for instance, if you claim green gun upgrade, only the gun part will be upgrade and your other parts will remain unupgraded so you’are more allowed to do customization. As a beginner, it is better to play with Uniform settings while the greatest interesting part in this action can only be acquire from challenging Individual settings.

2. Part System. Just like what we mentioned on upgrade system there is a color and every color has a corresponding improvement to your parts. So for your main gun you can get Green to include homing missiles to your primary gun. The fire rate is very slow with homing missiles but you can consider the massive damage as well as AOE damage around the explosion point. Upon increasing the level it will let you fire more amount of missiles. For Red, this will let you fires quick bullets. With a very high firing rate you should expect that the damage is yet moderate. As you increase the level of your main gun this will let you spread out the shots covering most of your screen. Blue upgrades will let you change your primary gun to fires a concentrated laser. Of course being a laser gun you will find that the fire rate is extremely fast with a higher damage compering to quick shots. Upon improving the levels this will increase the length and width of the lasers as well as adding more lasers.

That is for primary gun and for engines. You can go for Green upgrade if you like the moderate acceleration with a moderate maximum speed that can handle almost all situation. For Red you can consider low acceleration with the higher maximum speed. This is perfect for those who like to build up a maximum speed fast pace. And lastly the blue upgrade for fastest acceleration yet lowest maximum speed. Perfect to use speed as defense mechanism.

Now let’s go for shields as you can also upgrade it through colors. Green shields will surround your entire ship with slow regeneration force field. Upon upgrading it will increase the amount of damage it can take. Red shield knows as anti-gravity forcefield that will deflects projectiles. Upon improving, the increase of forces will upgrade at which the projectiles are launched. And lasting the Blue shields that will surrounds a small section of your ship but with fast regeneration letting your to absorb more amount of damage especially after upgrading.

3. Unlocking new parts. Though this is not your primary objective in game but this is a long term way to inspire you play the game and lend hours of grinding to unlock new parts. For you to use other in-game content you need to complete your achievements. This is the other way of scavenging parts from destroyed ship. Actually most players complete it without totally minding it from the very beginning as they only enjoy the game and complete achievements at the same time. But as you narrow down your list and getting completed those easy task you can view the list of achievements and see which parts are listed. So if you wish to get a specific part you can start working on it through achievement.

4. Defend yourself. Aside from your shield that can bring out limited protection for your ship you can also defense yourself against enemy arsenal. You will see enemy ships with lasers and they are often easy to see coming, as they fire a laser, you are will see a red warning track telling you exactly where the laser is going to be. From here you have a second before the laser actually fires and use this opportunity to keep on moving and shift your direction. But when it comes to missiles you need to do another way of avoiding it. Actually you will never find missile a big threat especially in small quantities since missiles can be shot down the only thing is that when you encounter boss ships that can release tons of missiles in single attack. Well to defend yourself against this kind of attack you can consider the Anti-Missile Gun which is useful for this scenario. The most challenging part in avoiding gunfire is trajectory from ordinary bullets. They travel fast and this is the same with your own bullets. Your only edge with this kind of bullets is that they don’t do too much damage just ensure you have shields before engaging ships with this bullet.
