You wish to see destruction, you want to conquer other players’ base and yes you can do it from the very beginning, if you are serious in playing this game as how we play it, you must do it with long term strategy and to start it, you must consider your resources first. This is the foundation of your progress which requires your patience from the very beginning. So for you improve your resources you can focus on upgrading your resource building and then silos. You can also consider playing with single player missions as this is also a good way to earn lots of resources. Since you are playing against AI, you can easily draw you victory from it and earn lots of resources that you can use to upgrade your silos and structures.
Build more structures that will let you do upgrades on everything. Since you have enough resources that you can use to upgrade or construct building, you can now start dressing up your base with buildings that you need for your progress. Keep in mind that you need to construct different buildings that will upgrade further more especially with Command Center. In building you can start with the most important stuff to work with such as resource building and then you can move to attacking phase. Construction and upgrading consumes time to be done and it is a good strategy to plan it ahead. You can put decoy buildings or those least-priority buildings in the mid area where opposing team can attack and let your defense structures to take their time attacking offensive units. In doing a defense strategy, you must consider making it closer to one another so it will let your watchtowers include them to their range and protect them. Plus smaller base is easier for you to put inside defense walls for additional protection.
