Yes as you continue making progress, battles are getting difficult and you need to ensure that you are improving constantly so you can still defend and fight your enemies effectively.
Aside from exciting gameplay, there is a rich story mode that this game offers. It is a dark secret that threatens to breach the trust on which your team is founded. The aftermath of 500 years of war, the battle for Earth now lies in you as you play the side of Alliance Command against unforeseen rival. All in all, the game offers two different game mode from Base Battle and Survival Mode and you can choose your best 3 heroes to survive against the final boss battles. So with the two game features, you will do offense and defense combination to protect your territory. This will let you experience playing the game with mix and matching the unique skills of your Commanders and their machines to comply with your objectives for every missions. Of course you need to play it with strategy or else you will lose your edge in battle. And that is the reason why we are here to help you formulate your own strategy that can comply with your situation:
1. Boost your officers by deploying them in battle. To use your officer to the fullest, you need to increase their level by participating in battle. Every officer has their own personal field effect such as rigs and they are useful for that. As for officer, the most interesting officer based on their skills is Nika’s healing power. Using this skill you can help tower and rig by healing them. If your officer successfully reaches level 10 they will be entitled to learn new skill.
2. Do not rely on repair and time gate too much. These are abilities that you will always have in game regardless of rig and officer selection you can still have this. We already mentioned Nika’s healing skill actually repair works just like Nika’s field effect which can replenish tower or rig hit point. As for time gate, this slows all enemies based on targeted area. Definitely this is perfect to aid you winning the game easily but you should take this for emergency only and not rely on them too much. Don’t forget that you need to spend nitrus for these abilities.
3. Manage your command center for collecting Nitrus. Command Center is where you can generate Nitrus and this will spawns every 5 seconds. As your main currency, this is what you need to upgrade your rings so you need to collect them as much as possible. Actually since there are lots of things to do in game, it is very easy for players to forget that they have nitrus waiting in the middle of the battle. From here, it is better to practice collecting Nitrus for every after seconds and later on you are going to do it subconsciously.
4. Establish a bottleneck for your rigs. You must strategize everything in game and when it comes in formulating your strategy rigs positioning plays a great part. You must try to position your rigs so that they engage the enemies within a range of one of your towers. Actually this is the most efficient way of bringing down a wave quickly. If you have available war center, it’s even better as you have additional units that can generate arsenal for you. Don’t forget that you can use the global movement command to move all of your ground units. It is also able to help you if you have Arkosen as one of your officers since his field effect ability makes all ground units move to a specified location under a lightning speed.
5. Don’t forget to upgrade your rigs. You must maintain them with aggressive upgrade so you can comply with different challenges in game. Constant so meaning to say you will not leave a gap not to upgrade them or else you will find it difficult to comply later on as you need to maximum the upgrade all at once. In Nitropia – War Commanders your rigs have three categories which can be upgraded such as defense, special field effect and attack. When it comes with defense, this improves your unit movement speed and armor rating. As for attack this boosts the damage and reload speed and finally the rigs’ special field effect wherein you will see that each rig has a different field effect and upgrading them improves their ability as well as minimizing the cooldown time.
